“We had such fun desserts for my daughter’s bridal shower! Our guests enjoyed 5 different kinds of cupcakes, 3 different cake pop flavors, and GORGEOUS bride, groom, and bridal gown cookies. Everything was such a hit and guests raved about the dessert! Everything was delicious and presented beautifully! Candice was a pleasure to work with and a big help in my planning! I will be back!“

“Great bakery with a selection of Asian influenced mini cakes! Loved the strawberry shortcake, the cake was moist, cream was very smooth, strawberries were fresh, the combo’s not overly sweet, would def order again!On the other hand, didn’t enjoy the matcha red bean one as much, the cake texture was more coarse, and there’s a savory taste that was a bit odd.Overall, the mini cake’s size is on the small side, with approx. $8 per piece, it’s slightly overpriced. However, the price for drinks were quite reasonable for Boston area, enjoyed my ice americano!“

“This is a hidden gem! We came in here after a bike ride for coffee and an egg sandwich. The egg sandwich was on a homemade biscuit and one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The baked goods were unbelievable. The owner, Ramona, is so sweet. We will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend you check this place out!“

“This is a cozy little bakery in Newton. There are a good variety of pastries and cakes offered. You don't need to order cakes ahead of time, as there were several on display and available when we went. Staff were friendly, plenty of street (metered) parking. Decent prices and the things we tried were delicious. The cookies and cream cake looked good and tasted great. The lobster tail was of decent size and the cream filling was excellent and not overly sweet or bland. I'd come here again for cakes and pastries.“

The customization process for the cupcakes, that were for a birthday party, was extremely easy; Liza was fast to respond to messages, and pickup was a breeze. The cupcakes turned out perfect! “I 1000% recommend J Cakes!! They made my wedding cake dreams come true. I am obsessed with chocolate cake, and when we asked if they could make my now husband and I a chocolate-on-chocolate wedding cake, they were so excited. The owner was extremely helpful in designing the cake and advising us on how big it should be. Plus, they added on a vanilla sheet cake for all the non-chocolate lovers. The tasting box of cupcakes was so delicious that we couldn’t wait to taste the final product. I was elated to see the cake on our wedding day, and it was even more tasty than I had hoped! “this place is SO GREAT!! super cute inside. very much high end, boutique quality at very reasonable prices. another shop cancelled on me, but B Sweets was able to pull off this beauty last minute (for far less money too). “I did a Too Good To Go order at this bakery to try it out. This place gives you the value you paid for so I can see why the ratings are so high on tne app. Not just that, I enjoyed the pastries. Those peanut butter cookies were soft and chewy! Would I come back here without a tgtg order? Yes.“

“Mike's Pastry is an iconic bakery originating out of Boston's North End neighborhood. They offer a variety of cookies and other baked goods, but they are especially known for their extensive selection cannoli. Mike's of course has the classic plain ricotta, but they also sell more unique cannoli such as amaretto, limoncello, and hazelnut. Moreover, there are some newer flavors such as pecan caramel, peanut butter, and mint chip. There is something for everyone. This Cambridge location is fairly new, but their baked goods are of the same high quality as the original location, but with slightly less inventory and without the obscenely long lines. My wife and I got some cannoli for breakfast and some cookies for the flight back home. They pipped our cannoli fresh. Not sure if that's a regular occurrence at this location, or if it's because I arrived close to opening. Regardless, it was delicious and our family/friends loved the cookies.“

“I had called 6 bakeries including my go to bakery, I needed a chocolate cake with lemon frosting lol, I know what a combo! That’s what the birthday boy wanted! No one would make it, others offered a lemon filling, but no icing!! I called Arthur’s it have been a decade correct more since I had been there, the baker was sweet, agreed to make this cake! And WOW JUST WOW!! It was incredibly fabulous, the cake was outstanding but the icing was not screaming lemon, it had the perfect level of lemony flavor ! I cannot thank them enough! I highly recommend!!!“

“Continental is a great Italian bakery. Love the Italian rum birthday cake. Cannoli, lobster tails, baba rum, all delicious and reasonable prices. Crazy what people will pay just a couple miles down the road in the north end when they could come here and feed an army for what they pay at the more well known Boston bakeries. Ignore the idiot who complained about deposits on orders. He’s the type who would probably stiff them.“

“Karin made it so easy to order the cupcakes. I was taking them to K9 performance. So her suggestion of making some dog faces on the cupcakes was wonderful! Karin's cupcakes are a perfect "thank-you" or for any other special occasion. Will definitely be back.“

“I heard this bakery's pizza was amazing, so I had to try it. The pizza was very tasty. However, I was more impressed with the two young ladies serving me! Zoe and Amelia went over and beyond to make my first experience happen. That's the kind of business I want to return to, so that's exactly what I did the very next day. This time I decided to try some of their macaroons which were yummy. Again, Zoe really brighten my day with her passion to serve. I know I will be back again possibly tomorrow!“

“Absolutely Outstanding!! I have not had a cake this perfect ever! It was delicious, moist and just plain delicious. I loved the chocolate chip bundt and I also purchased the mini bundts that were also delightful. I was so impressed with this cake I almost wish I didn't discover them, almost. Thankfully, they are a bit of a drive for me because I would be stopping in all the time. Just wonderful all around and so colorful. I loved everything about this place. Will definitely return.“
