“Great dependable neighborhood spot for dinner and weekend brunch. They have also been great to work with for special events. I am so glad they have been in Union Square for as long as they have and I sincerely hope they continue for years to come.“

“Great "local" spot. Great service. Plentiful street parking within two blocks of restaurant. EXTREMELY cold on a cold night. We wore our coats during the meal. Food was excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Drinks were reasonably priced. All-female staff was pleasant, engaging, attentive, welcoming. I would definitely return in warmer seasons...“

“Excellent place to drop in real quick and refuel. The chicken sammich is huge! My crew got burgers and I got the banh mi BBQ pork. It was delicious. The place was super busy and near capacity when we stopped in for an early din din. The food came out as it was ready all hot and steamy. We also got the fried pickles and buffalo tenders. Everything was yummmyyy...if we are in reading again, we will def be hitting this place up. The bar is also really cool, with a bunch of great local beers to choose from.Parking: The parking lot is a bit tight if they are busy, but it's manageable as there is on street parking as well.“

“Nice restaurant. I had the clamp chowder which was good. While I had better chowder, the class were not to tuff or chewy which I liked. We say at one of the high top booths which were comfortable. The pizza looked good that one of our guest had. The nachos had cabbage which is interesting but in my opinion doesn't go well but not a deal breaker as it is ready to eat around if you don't want it. 1“

“I've been coming here every 2-3 months since the early 2000s and it hasn't changed. Still better than average pub grub (the salmon burger I had today was good, although the basic salad instead of fries was really boring with almost non-existent dressing). As the oldest brewpub in the Boston area, they've continued to up their brewing game and make an excellent and constantly changing variety of beers. This past weekend was their Sour Fest, and since I missed that, I ordered a flight of 3 small pours ($12.75) of the sours they still had remaining (photo). They were all good, but I particularly liked the "Time Curve Prelude #1" Biere de Coupage with berries and black currants, which was the most sour.“

“Where shall I begin? I love this place, my GO TO restaurant in the area. The food is great, the drinks are delicious and the staff rocks. First, you'll start off with a crisp glass of water with an old school design on the glass--Ronald McDonald, Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, etc. With each sip, you'll be taken back to the Looney Tunes Era and then some. Next, you'll want to check out the drink menu. I have tried a variety of them and highly recommend: 3-9-7 (Vodka-Sweet & Delicious), Brockman Blues (Gin & delicious), In My Gin Era (Gin), Lemon Drop Martini (Upon request), & the El Diablo (House infused Tequila-if you're into spice) YUM! If you're not into cocktails, they have numerous canned/bottled beers and my favorite, a rotating draft beer list! Staff allows you to taste test a couple of the beers, which is helpful. For apps, the Elote Corn Dip, Nachos, BBQ/Buffalo/Sweet Chili chicken tenders, and Buffalo cauliflower are all so tasty! For dinner, I highly recommend the following: Buffalo Chicken Flatbread (GF or nonGF) Asian Short Rib Steak Tips Swordfish Piccata (Plate changes seasonally) Classic Baked Haddock My mouth is watering thinking about all of these options! Overall, great place to eat and drink. So many options to choose. You won't be disappointed. See You There!“
