I have been there a few times now and every time have felt welcome, and have been served excellent food. Their breakfast sandwiches are perfect if you need a quick bite to eat before work, or if you go for lunch their menu is excellent offering a wide variety of selections. I honestly would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for something great to eat in the Brighton area of Boston.“

“An authentic kebob odyssey in Watertown.I’ve been on a hunt for good kebob recently and stumbled upon this spot. Since Watertown is known to have some of the most authentic kebob experiences in the Greater Boston area, I had high hopes, and Roksana’s lived up to that.When I first tried their signature Koobideh, I was absolutely blown away. These minced beef kebobs were juicy, flavorful, and impeccably cooked. The addition of egg yolk brushed pita bread, coupled with the simple perfection of rice and tomatoes, made the experience even more satisfying. On my subsequent visits, I also had the lamb and beef soltanis. Beef kabob was slightly better, but both were good.In their refrigerated section, they also have some good yogurt spreads. So far, I’ve tried the eggplant and shallot spread, and although a tad more expensive, the eggplant spread definitely stood out more with its subtle smokiness.If you’re planning a visit, just make sure that you place the order via phone in advance as it might take around 20 minutes for the food to get ready. While the journey to get there might be a bit lengthy, the destination will be worth every mile traveled.“

“Had guru at the Boston Public Library farmers market. I know food prices are getting higher, but I feel like for just a few dollars more, you can gorge at a buffet somewhere. The pakora looked phenomenal but cannot be chosen as a side, which is disappointing. They definitely save money by using tripartite containers and loading basmati rice onto the biggest section. I would definitely consider using them for catering but I also know that Indian grub isn't for everyone. The Farmer's market is in a great spot. You can just eat at the sidewall of the BPS and talk to people. It's a good experience on a nice day and even more so if you're from out of town. As an aside, I don't know why the only two hot food offerings are Indian at the farmer's market. The samosas at the other joint looked like a must try. That review for that one will be coming soon. “My friend and I were craving Mediterranean food, so we decided to try Sufra - and it did not disappoint. Being from the Mediterranean myself, I am usually very critical of Mediterranean food, but this was truly amazing. Everything was so good, and I have to say the highlight of the meal was the baba ganoush and the shawarma. I had not had good shawarma in Boston until I tried Sufra's - it tasted so authentic and just like home! And the baba ganoush was to die for - the flavor was perfect. The staff are friendly, the food came quick, the portions are huge and the food is also decently priced. I had a very positive experience in Sufra - I will definitely be returning soon and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Mediterranean meal.“

First and foremost you are greeted kindly when you come into the restaurant and the smell of delicious flavors comes over you. The ordering process is very simple, and everything is made fresh on the spot. I got the Chicken Shawarma with spicy hummus and I was IN LOVE. I inhaled the entire entree, the spicy hummus was the perfect amount of spice, the chicken was cooked and spiced to perfection and the veggies were fresh and bright. In addition, I had mentioned how much I liked the tabbouleh salad that my friend was having and a worker at the restaurant overhead me and brought me a little over for myself which was so kind. You can tell the people who work and own this location genuinely care about the customers. Most people who came in already knew the staff, and the staff knew them, their names, and often their orders! They arrived within the block of time and were very professional and polite. Tyrone explained why the 4 walls needed to be replaced along with the rusted cap. It does not have tomato sauce. The buffalo chicken is light on buffalo sauce, and the pizza is drizzled with ranch to balance it out. The crust is thin and crispy. That first bite of the buffalo chicken pizza is something I still remember to this day. It is obviously best eaten fresh, or it definitely loses a little something the next day.Aside from the buffalo, my family and I really like the crispy honey. It also has no sauce and has a great blend of sweetness from the honey mustard and a good tang from the banana peppers.For those who love BBQ sauce, their BBQ chicken pizza is a great choice.Their chicken tenders are huge, cooked fresh, and are actual pieces of chicken. The wings are also great and cooked fresh as well.Their steak and cheese is top 2 in Boston for me. I order mine with mayo, onions and peppers. My wife adds jalapenos. I have to adjust the distribution of steak towards the edges, but that's really just a personal preference.Anyone who comes to visit Boston, I take them to Crispy Dough and everyone has been amazed.
