One of the best sub sandwiches ever. My family and I stop here on our way to the Cape. The food is consistently great. The sub rolls are delicious and always fresh. We ordered the Original (ham and cheese) and chicken Parmesan. Both subs were delicious with ingredients that were fresh and superior. Amato’s is not a stand alone restaurant; it’s located inside a gas station. Don’t judge: it’s a hidden gem of a sub shop, and I highly recommend it.

My wife and I travel 45 minutes each way just for their meatball subs which are THE BEST!! The best meatball subs we have EVER had!! The other day we were having that craving and for 45 minutes we talked about how awesome dinner was going to be. We got there all psyched at 6:00 ready to chow to find out the hours have changed and they were closed. First time I have ever almost cried over food haha. All their sandwiches are incredible but the meatball in our ho is the bestKudos to the people behind the counter.

Great sandwich! Classic Italian is my favorite. I love getting these in Maine. I'm glad there's one in Wareham now! :)

Walked in there was five customers not wearing mask that’s not there fault but when you have the person behind the counter wearing no mask and using no gloves to make the food that is a big L in my book I walked right out

Get a sandwich, and with combos being posted 99 cents for chips and drink everywhere in the store, we get charged 1.39 instead. Asked why its not 99 cents. She goes "I dont know" shrugs and ignores me. Brushed me off rudely and since she was not the only one there I just assumed she could hardly care about asking. Wont be coming back. Also advertises pizza and pasta but none of that is there as well. Just sandwich's on the menu but the giant sign outside says otherwise. From what I saw another persons review that they were told t hey would be getting a pizza oven "ina few" and that review comment was a month ago, still dont have it LOL.

One rude worker and one extremely nice worker. One of the workers gave me an attitude while the other was extremely nice and gave no attitude at all.

This place just opened, replacing the Subway that was in the same spot. Overall, we found the sandwich tasty, fresh and the staff was very friendly. Having just opened, they are still working out some things and training the employees. The main difference over Subway (which we were expecting when we walked into the store) is that you order and pay up front, and wait while they make your sandwich. You can order as-is off the menu and you get a pre-configured sandwich with all the condiments listed on the menu. Or you can modify the sandwich and condiments as needed. Also, while chatting with one of the employees, I was told that they will be getting a pizza oven in the next couple as well as serving breakfast soon. But until then, they have a lot of sandwich choices, and I'll be back again to try another sandwich. And I'll probably have a wrap rather than the sub style next time, less bread.
