“A quiet, small town bar. Honestly, being a member of the community I've really only been in here 3 times in my entire life. So if you're looking for a place with just the right amount of people and not over crowded, weeknights are key.”
“Great food. Always mine and my family's go to! We live a block from the restaurant and the workers have gone above and beyond what I ever believed that anyone left in this world do. My family needed help w our car, I called and right away someone from the restaurant came to save the day! I have a lot of trust, respect, and loyalty to George's Pizza ?. They have changed from a few years ago and I have not one bad thing to say about them. THANK YOU ? ?My son gives two thumbs up!”
“This place is not far from where I live so I decided to try them out one morning when I was out running errands. Of all the Dunkin' donuts in the area this one has to have the absolute best location. The scenery is second to none. Pastoral views abound for those who want to order a coffee and just sitting their car and daydream looking at the beautiful scenery. I don't know how they got a hold of this location but I'm glad they did. Of course they have drive-thru which I enjoy because I have a compromised immune system and value drive-thru operations very much. Super convenient and wicked beautiful scenery. You go Dunkin's!”
“Free really decent music on Fridays, inexpensive bottled waters!!! Some of the beers they brew look inviting!!! And trivia !! We have been coming here for months on Fridays!!! Food also looks fantastic!!”
“Everyone working there is really really nice and the place was very clean and cozy. The Veal was fantastic, the cheese cake and lemon Chelo cake both blew me away!!!!”
“Great brewery to check out in Brookfield, Massachusetts. We loved the Pumpkin Carver. The flights come out on a wooden oak leaf, which was fun.Good function room, there was a party downstairs, while we were at another upstairs- plus some room at the bar. They had a live band playing, and it was very family and (I think) dog friendly.Thumbs up”
“Unbelievably good BBQ, large portions, went with my father and we are both large people who almost never have leftovers to bring home, but here we both had almost a second full meal to bring with us!”
“The food here is amazing and the employees are super nice and friendly and they always try to get to know everyone and treat you like family. The place is very clean and well decorated and has a nice vibe to it, and this place is so popular that it's always full of nice people and sometimes you have to make reservation and what's great is they will call and let you know when there's the free spot in everything super amazing. I highly recommend you coming here and checking it out”
“Best pizza within 10 miles of Hampden. So happy i walked in to try something new. Pizza crust is delicious. Cut in rustic manner. Subs had great bread.Going to be my new regular pizza place.Parking can be rough during dinner rush.Cold pizza the next morning, might have been even better than the night before. WINNER WINNER PIZZA DINNER!Parking: 3 spots in front of restaurant.”
“Great spot for breakfast and brunch! Awesome sandwiches and coffee on the go or even a place to eat. I highly recommend and well worth the price!! You get what you pay for. Give it a chance! Won’t be disappointed. Always great to support a small business. Also, friendly owners too”
“Great local destination with tons of small town New England charm and quirk! Fun watching g the locals interact with the staff. Great burrito. Excellent beers brewed on site.”
“Love stopping by almost every morning. The staff are wonderful, efficient, and friendly. The coffee and food are fresh and absolutely delicious. The store itself is super cute and stocked with goodies. A great small business to support.”
“just got takeout - delicious as usual. On change that was awesome: instead of mixing sauces/etc on the food, you put everything in its own container. AWESOME. 6/5 - food, service. customer for life!”
“Everything about Condesa was amazing! I ordered takeout for lunch and was so amazed that I had to come back to dine in. The atmosphere and decor is open and modern. All of our food was delicious, and our drinks were tasty and had beautiful presentation. Our waitress was the perfect amount of attentive, and our dishes came out perfectly timed. Our new go-to spot!”
“Without question the best pizza in the region, if not New England as a whole! I've been all over the US for decades and very few compare to this! New York style crust and a flavorful sauce, plenty of cheese, just right!”
“While I may have a bias as a six year server at the Steaming Tender, I am truly blessed to be a part of our team. My fellow servers are genuinely friendly and eager to learn, each bringing their authentic personality and sense of professionalism to the table. Our bartenders mix and match with the best of them, whether you fancy one of our rotating local draft beers, a seasonally curated cocktail, or a classic mocktail for those lighter days, they'll prepare you a beverage that will hit the spot with finesse, know-how, and a great conversation. Our chefs are some of the hardest working people I know, consistently innovating and executing a complex array of well-crafted dishes. They can have a seemingly endless amount of orders coming into their kitchen and still put their hearts and souls into every diner's plate. And the best part is, our dishwashers work seamlessly behind the scenes, ensuring you needn't worry about a thing. Steaming Tender is fully family owned and operated and it shows. Our management values input, seeks new ways to expand and improve, and strive to create a positive work environment. Lastly, but certainly not least, the preservation of this historical landmark of Palmer keeps our rich American history alive. I truly believe H.H. Richardson and Frederick Law Olmsted would be proud. If you appreciate delicious food, delightful service, and a deep dive into local history I encourage you to choo-choo-choose the Steaming Tender.Vegetarian options: Seasonal salads, secret garden veggie burger, basil pomodoroDietary restrictions: Vegan options, gluten free options. Accommodating kitchen.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love watching the trains go by, the birthday song, and sitting in the shoe shine station. The patio in the summer time is always a wow moment as well. Be sure to check out the grounds filled with antique stagecoach, train memorabilia, and genuine 1915 Porter Locomotive.Wheelchair accessibility: Sloped area in the curbing next to the red dining car, beside handicap parking.”
“We took a girls trip to Sturbridge Village and the Sturbridge Coffee House was highly recommended by the hotel we stayed in. We all enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and delicious food! We also loved the local art, friendly staff, great gluten free options and smoothies! ❤️”
“My husband and I visit the Apple Barn Cafe every time we are in the area, which we make a point to be. Wonderful family. . Very accommodating! The whole family, to include their cousins, add to the atmosphere with their great smiles and their desire to serve you the best food in the area. Suzanne knows how to cook, believe me. The hash is to die for! Really, I would have to mention almost everything on their menus because they are all favorites. We try and pick something different whenever we are there. We have never been disappointed. This Christmas season I need to revisit their holiday specials. Between the food, and the beautiful countryside of Brimfield, you will be glad you went. We will be back.”
“Everything was overcooked and tasted of old fryer oil. The seafood is definitely not fresh scallops were rubbery fish had a slight amonia smell. Not worth the price.”
“007's a little doughy for my liking. Same for egg rolls. Everything else was good. Got 2 dinners @ $12.50/EA and split. It was around 8pm so it was quiet. My friend used the Ladies room and she said it was kinda dirty. I usually get dinners ToGo. For about $26 I have enough for days. Love Chinese leftovers!”
“Excellent place. Had a wonderful time at their fireplace feast. Tons of very good food. You will not leave hungry. Drinks were on the pricy side, but they pour generously and make very good drinks. Staff went out of their way to ensure every guest had a good time.Dietary restrictions: Staff go out of their way to make the meal fit your dietary needs. Had a person at our table with a dietary restriction and witnessed staff change out every portion of the meal that needed to be with a very appetizing substitute. Staff did a good job of making the substitutions without making a big deal of it.”
“Food outstanding. 2 different veal dishes, tender and served in generous portions. Red sauce authentic, byob means you can eat very big and still not break the weekend $$ limit. No dress-up required. Terrific evening out.”
“everybody knows Teresa’s, whether if it’s from their food, their banquet events, or the customer service that is provided, which keeps people coming back (often times, every week)”
“Absolutely fantastic! A must try. The service is great. Warm and friendly people and atmosphere. The pastries are to die for! The only local place I've found for lattes, espresso etc. Highly ”
“Our party are all looking forward to dining in at Villa Sofia this evening. This will be our third time. The menu selections are always wonderful and the portion sizes just right. One in our party of four has celiac and the staff and kitchen are adept at accommodating this. We haven't tried the pizza yet but it's on the list!”
“Amazing people, very professional and a pleasure to see when I get out for coffee which is Amazing. went with my mom last time who ordered an everything bagel and she said it's the best she's had. I highly recommend this place!”
“Great place for a nice Japanese meal in the area. Lots of options for different tastes. Had the Tom Yum soup which was hearty with the right amount of heat. Also had the Kamakazi and dragon rolls, which were great. The staff was nice and the service was quick. Would definitely go back when u am back in the area.Parking: Decent sized lot with lots of spaces that was pretty full when I went on week night”
“I have been here a few times over the last year and a half. Every time the food has been great, the staff has been fantastic, and the portions for the price have been remarkable. Stop in if you haven't been by!”
“We have frequented this restaurant in all of its iterations for nearly thirty years as a centralized meeting place to dine with family and/or friends living in the tri-state area. We have never been disappointed.Last evenings dining in our ‘miles for smiles tour’, took excellence to yet another level. Everything was perfect…the ambiance, cocktails, wines, appetizers, all four meals, which included duck, beef, seafood, and a pasta dishes were artfully plated, perfectly prepared, and flavorful. And, of course, followed by our favorite White Chocolate Mousse dessert. Our server, Lauren, is deserving of five stars of her own. An outstanding example of exemplary professional service, knowledgeable of the menu and the food preparation, wine list; an active listener with sharp memory, positive attitude, and sense of humor all wrapped in a beaming broad smile. She cared for our experience as if we were royalty, ensuring yet another memorable evening of dining. We will definitely arrange our next visit around an evening she is scheduled to work.Thank you keeping us smiling.”
