I've eaten a LOT of turkey in my life. I have NO idea what they served me yesterday. 1" thick slab looking like it was placed one side down on the griddle!?! ? Could have been turkey. I wish I had taken a picture of it AND the picture on the menu. Looks like grandma's home cooking on the menu. Looks like elementary school cafeteria lunch in the restaurant. Little spoonful of frozen mashed potatoes. About the same thing with the dressing. Corn was tough and chewy. Wouldn't eat it again if it was free!

Hmmm where to begin...... Hoped off the pike for a bite to eat. Usually we go to the pizza joint up the road when we're in the area but tonight we decided to switch it up....BIG MISTAKE. Let's start with the bathroom. The sign on the wall says "sparkling clean" but the boyfriend says the urinal tells a different story....I didn't even venture into the women's after that. On to the "food"....... Boyfriend ordered turkey dinner. Menu specifically states that the meals comes with turkey, filling. Mashed and gravy, corn and cranberry sauce. He got the turkey and filling and the mashed. In the meantime I asked for a side of gravy, so the waitress went back to get that and we figured out all the things that were missing and I went to the counter to request those as well. In the meantime "manager" #1 comes along to deliver my gravy....he tells my boyfriend he's wrong about the sides and his meal doesn't come with them. (1st rule of customer service, the customer is always right). I then specifically read the menu with my waitress and pointed all the missing items out. So she brings out the cranberry first. 10 mins later the corn comes....rock hard. So I ask for the manager and told him to bring a menu. "Manger" #2 comes out and states he "would not eat that corn" but it's the servers fault for bringing it. Not his, not the kitchen who put it out.....it's the servers fault...good grief...keep throwing your new girl under the bus....It's a surefire way to ruin a good employee. He really wasn't concerned with our issues. Just wanted to throw a free meal at us to shut us up.....we didn't even want that. Just wanted to spare the next person. And the steak "tips". I don't even have words except don't waist your money. It's strips of sandwich steak, too salty to eat. Anyway, go to the pizza joint up the street. It's a waste of money and time to come here. "Management" needs a training class, maybe 2.....

I just went there today at 1 pm or so. There was maybe 4 people sitting as customers. Picked two ice creams from freezer was going to order shakes.Stood at the counter. One worker was doing something with ice cream the other Idk.Neither acknowledged me or my mother while we stood there for 10 minutes. Neither said 'hold on' or 'sorry we are busy' which would have been fine. One of the workers talked to a few people who had been sitting and were leavingAfter another few minutes of being totally ignored;. Not even a look let alone a 'hi one second please'.Put the ice creams back and left.Not only is it ridiculous to wait for over fifteen minutes watching workers scoop ice cream and do stuff without any acknowledgement whatsoever it's rude.Lost my business. If I could put zero stars I would but I cannot post without a star.I also will note this is by far the worst friendlies I ever have seen as far as customer service.

A one star is way more than it deserves...horrible service, the hamburgers were burnt to a crisp. Awful. Don't waste your time or money.

Actually some of the worst service I’ve gotten, only received half my meal the first time, had to go back in 2 times, just to open a freezing cold meal thats barely cooked. Not to mention it looked like their was a bite mark in my bread (see attached photo) Threw it all away. If you hate your job then quit. It should not take 10 minutes of you (the employee) staring at me at the counter and me (the customer) having to ASK for some help. As there was 3/4 girls behind the counter. This place used to be awesome, management is awful.

I walked in and was greeted well I was with my daughter. We proceeded to sit down and the waitress asked if we would like some drinks and I ask for a Coke and my daughter wanted a chocolate milk. After the waitress placed the drinks down on the table I was told there were no straws available at the restaurant. I asked how we were supposed drink our beverages. I was told I don't know what to tell you but we don't have any straws. I said well we are unable to stay. She says I'll be back I'm going to get the manager. After 5 minutes of being gone she came back to the table and said I'm not going to be your waitress now someone else is going to take care of you. The manager never came out. This was totally unprofessional and definitely out of line. I did not feel comfortable staying to eat our dinner so I left. This is the first and last time that I will ever be at this Friendly's on Southampton Road in Westfield. This was taken Place between 6:30-7:00 on 8/28/21

I don't understand why people are always flocking to Friendly's. Our service wasn't great, the appetizer looked like it was for a baby (everything was miniature even the mozzarella sticks). The floor was sticky... Just not impressed. If you are going for ice cream this area has a ton of great places to try. If you are going for food, turn right or left past it on Southampton Road and find something else.

My experience could have been better if the manager, Crystal, who was at the pick up window acknowledged my presence or even looked up. She was putting an order in or doing up a bill, then after a few minutes, walked away saying "I'll be right back". She didn't come back, in fact she picked up a big tray and went into dining room to serve customers in a booth. I kept looking for someone to just hand me my call-in order...it was ready 10 minutes earlier. A young girl came and helped me get my order and although my waffle fries got cool from waiting my burger was absolutely delicious. I was happy the food tasted good. Just want to mention it was 7 pm and not a busy time, at that moment..

isolate friendlies from trying to stay relevant in a arrow where there's a larger and larger golf between sit-down family restaurants and fast food. I have nothing but nostalgic memories about going to Friendly's for an ice cream sunday and was a little saddened to hear that there was a 40-minute wait to be seated simply to have dessert. the staff was super nice and directed us to the takeout window but it certainly seemed to be a problem with Staffing since half the restaurant appeared to be empty at the time. kudos to the wonderful White staff in the fast service but it was a little disappointing to have the inability to sit down to have our Sundays.

Drive through is slow but, at least they never mess up the order, are also always friendly.

Really weird. Got shakes at the takeout counter and they were so-so, so 2 stars for at least completing the order. But it took like over 20 minutes. The place was practically empty, there were more staff than customers, but the employees were standing around chatting at the soda fountain and taking selfies for awhile, then would stop, make one shake, then go back to chatting before making another. So like I said, really weird. No idea what the heck was so interesting at the soda fountain. Maybe just make the order all at once and have more time for chatting and selfies afterwards?

I’d rate it a zero if it was possible. Third time I’ve been in there lately, trying to give them extra chances, and it’s been over 2 hours every time we’ve gone in there. Went in there today and was told it would have been a 20 minute wait… an hour later and no one even took a drink order. The waitresses can be seen behind the counter not doing anything and certainly not even trying to be pleasant. It’s gone down hill so far from a few years ago
