Friendly's

I don't understand why people are always flocking to Friendly's. Our service wasn't great, the appetizer looked like it was for a baby (everything was miniature even the mozzarella sticks). The floor was sticky... Just not impressed. If you are going for ice cream this area has a ton of great places to try. If you are going for food, turn right or left past it on Southampton Road and find something else.

My experience could have been better if the manager, Crystal, who was at the pick up window acknowledged my presence or even looked up. She was putting an order in or doing up a bill, then after a few minutes, walked away saying "I'll be right back". She didn't come back, in fact she picked up a big tray and went into dining room to serve customers in a booth. isolate friendlies from trying to stay relevant in a arrow where there's a larger and larger golf between sit-down family restaurants and fast food. I have nothing but nostalgic memories about going to Friendly's for an ice cream sunday and was a little saddened to hear that there was a 40-minute wait to be seated simply to have dessert. the staff was super nice and directed us to the takeout window but it certainly seemed to be a problem with Staffing since half the restaurant...read full review
