“They offer delivery and are wheelchair accessible. It is good for kids and pets are welcome. They have curbside pickup and catering. They also offer free Wi-Fi and contactless payments. They are very pleasant and good with their jobs but wish they would hire more teens. I would say it is the best location in the state though. Their roasted chicken sub is definitely next on my list, looks delicious. I often have seen the delivery truck come in and the man restock. It is conveniently next to Joann's Fabrics so after you eat you can go shop around. Many places to sit inside.“

“I found 978 Cafe a couple weeks ago and have already been back three times! The owner and his wife are SO nice and genuinely care about their customers. When regulars come in, they were greeted by name and asked if they were ordering their usual. Places like this have always stood out to me.Food is AMAZING! I highly recommend the Boston Burger and the Sweet Chili Meatball Sandwich, they are so good!I usually get an iced caramel coffee or a hot dulce de leche coffee and both are delicious!After coming here multiple times, I can definitely say that the consistency and quality of food / drinks will keep me coming back. A hidden gem for sure!“

“The food was great! They make their ham every day and it shows! I had the eggs Benedict with ham , sooo delicious! We were here celebrating our 25th anniversary and they made us feel so welcome that we came again! The people are sooo friendly! I definitely recommend this place to everyone! “Always a great new pour on tap to enjoy with your dogs both inside/outside. Food trucks every weekend, check their FB for the vendor info. TV for all games or live music. This is our favorite brew located in an old mill building with tons of small businesses.“

“This ice cream stand is awesome! Absolutely delicious ice cream! And the stand is so cute. Like a trip back in time- in a good way! I look forward to trying lunch and getting and ice cream. “I literally stumbled across this shop while visiting another food establishment nearby. I can't resist a place that offers cheese, so ai went in. I was delighted to find out that tasting samples is encouraged here! I bought many things, including a ham and gruyere sandwich, a cheese plate full of incredible cheeses, pate, terrine, and a few other things. I found the prices to be very reasonable and I was extremely appreciative of the lesson in French cuisine. I live a bit of a distance, but I know that I will likely make a few trips back here throughout the year, because this shop is one of a kind.“

“I was really looking forward to trying Vietnamese coffee from a café for the first time and my expectations were met and exceeded! I even got to try a version of cold foam that was completely new to me which added a wonderful sweetness to the strong flavor of the Robusta beans. The staff were friendly, kind, and patient with me as a new customer. I'm sad this location will be closing soon for renovations but look forward to trying their 2nd location a few minutes away in the meantime.“

“Our first time there and we had breakfast sandwiches with delicious drinks. Then left with delicious, uniques flavored cupcakes (strawberry cheesecake and dirty tiramisu) and French macaroons. “Raw seafood prices are a bit high but the cooked items are delicious and priced well. Grilled salmon sandwich - 5/5 very good. Came with a thick piece of salmon filet. Ask for lettuce, tomato and onion when ordering. Fisherman's platter - 4/5 everything on the platter tasted juicy and fresh. I especially liked the whole belly clams and shrimp. The fries were alright and tasted frozen. Onions rings - 4.5/5. I don't think these are made jn house but they were perfectly fried and tasted great. Service - 5/5 the owner was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to coming back again.“

“This place is the definition of a HIDDEN GEM. My boyfriend and I wanted to grab a quick bite after the gym and we came across El Bunker on Google. When we walked in we were greeted by Camilla who is the sweetest! She was making Pão de Quiejo and they were AMAZING. (even better than fogo de chao in my opinion)We both got the Cuban sandwich which was so yummy. The bread was toasted and the garlic sauce really made the sandwich. I also got the guava shake and it was delicious and my boyfriend got a coffee with condensed milk which he loved.This place deserves more recognition for the quality of food and service they provide. Definitely will be visiting more!“

“Went to the Haverhill Farmer’s Market and saw this amazing loaf of kalamata olive and rosemary bread. It is as amazing as it looks and sounds. This is coming from someone who isn’t normally a bread fan. I’m sure the rest of their breads are just as good.“
