“I called this place reluctantly late last night because it was my only real option at 9:30 pm (they close by 10)….i had tried it years ago and didn’t think it was very good. Well, last night they proved themselves lol! I ordered house fried rice and bone in spare ribs. Not only did they serve me with a smile and seem happy to be there still, I’m sure it had been a long day..the food was piping hot and so fresh! I was definitely expecting less ten minutes prior to closing! The rice had a little of everything and was so good! The pork pieces weren’t all fatty trimmings like most places. This was actual chunks of pork with very little to no fat. Little shrimps and chicken…so so good. I couldn’t stop eating it. The ribs were cooked to perfection, meaty, and so tasty I was licking my fingers and the bones haha! Best ribs I’ve had anywhere! The price was good too! I will definitely be back!“

“We have a new office in Boston. So periodically I drive down from our main office to the Boston location and every time I do, I have resolved to try a new restaurant. This was today’s choice and it was SPECTACULAR! My server was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was insanely good. I didn’t know how big my stir-fried rice cake bowl would be so I ordered the sweet and sour pork loin to go with it. But the rice cake bowl was huge and tasted incredible. Lots of heat, lots of fresh prepared veggies and meat. 10/10 would recommend that dish. The pork tenderloin I tried and 10/10 would recommend it as well. The location is a bit small and that is literally the only nit I can pick. If you’re in this area, get some take out or eat in , you won’t regret it!!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“I came here with a group of 6 so we got to try a good number of dishes.

My favorites were the hot and sour soup (good flavor, lots of tasty fillings, and the small size could easily feed all of us), the beef chow fun (great wok hei and textures, though the beef seemed potentially undercooked), and the spicy dry fried calamari (perfectly crispy and chewy and savory and spicy).

The seafood with crispy noodles was also good. I thought most of the seafood I tried was good, but the scallops were not that great as they felt overcooked. I also didn't like that the sizzling fish had skin on it, but that's just a me thing.

Overall it's a good option for a big group, and I'd come back for the three items I enjoyed the most -- they were executed well.“

“We found this online and after driving to a different place that no longer existed, this was an excellent choice. Very small parking area and very small dining area, but the service was immediate. The food was wonderful and very fresh. My guess is that this particular restaurant must do a tremendous takeout and DoorDash business, but the dining service was small, but clean, and very courteous. “Had a small birthday party for a good friend. Wayne put us in the function room and there was no additional charge. Sue(probably not the correct spelling) was our server. She was very pleasant, efficient and did everything for us went above and beyond. We brought a cake with us and she put candles in it that the restaurant provided, lit the candles sang happy birthday with us and brought the cake to the table to the birthday girl to blow out. Put the cake back in the box and cleaned up after us. The food is absolutely delicious, the freshest I have ever had. Everyone had a great experience and commented how wonderful everything was. “First time I tried the claypot rice. Surprisingly good and big portion. We couldn’t finish the whole bowl. They have many choices from pork, beef or even quail. At the bottom of the pot will have sticky/ burnt rice. It tastes so good and crispy. Pricing is very affordable. The space is very small and kinda open with the kitchen next to it. So prepare that you will smell “food and very delicious” after walking out. The server is nice and attentive. Worth trying!“

“We had a great meal at Fuchun Ju and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for excellent Chinese food in Boston.

We tried several varieties of soup dumplings, the scallion pancakes, and the Peking duck. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The standout for us was the scallion pancakes—they were wonderfully flaky, crisp on the outside, and absolutely delicious. The Peking duck was also excellent, and we really enjoyed the smaller soup dumplings.

The only dish that wasn’t a favorite was the large pork and crab soup dumpling. It was very well made, but the crab flavor was stronger than we expected and overpowered the pork for our taste. If you enjoy a pronounced crab flavor, you may love it.

One tip: the large soup dumplings take about 25 minutes to prepare, so be sure to order them as soon as you sit down if you plan to try them.

The restaurant is located in a nice area that’s easy to find, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dining experience and would happily return to try more of the menu.“

“I had a delightful and tasty time at Fiskie's! I went on a weekend to try their Gujarati specials and their dal pakwan, which you can't find anywhere else in Boston. The dal was hearty and tangy, the pakwan was sooo crispy, flaky, awesome, and it was all around perfect! (Just make sure to call ahead if you want the dal pakwan.) And while you're at it, you gotta get their mango and sitafal lassis too. I loved the family vibe of this hidden gem - so hidden you need to tell the guy at the gate that you're going to Fiskie's (if you're driving) 😅

They have such a long menu, and everything looks so delicious.
We had the beef roll. The beef itself is served cool and the roll is crispy and hot, very tasty!
The Sichuan spicy fish is very tender and tasty. The spice level is just right for us.
Although I won’t say it’s all taiwanese dishes, I would love to try again next time.“
