A few months ago this location switched their ordering method and it has been CHAOS ever since. People waiting 20+ minutes for a bagel with cream cheese. The workers are very clearly overwhelmed, the system is broken. This location used to be great when they allowed people to order as they walked through the line, never any issues. Go back to the old ordering system!!! Or I fear this location will not last.

Disappointed with this location. Have been a customer for 30 years. The bagels aren’t as good. The cream cheese wasn’t as fresh. And when i paid, the woman helping me admitted to not understanding math so she gave me less money back than she should have. I won't be returning anytime soon.

In the middle of Sunday and there is no bacon, there is no coffee. It’s better to stay closed.

Best bagels in town! The brueggers app leaves much to be desired. But the location itself is great

i come to this brueggar's quite often, and they do often have issues getting the order right. more recently, i visited on september 24th in the morning to pick up bagels for my family and was treated rudely and received an order with multiple mistakes.we ordered a half dozen bagels and 3 bagel sandwiches. after receiving the order, i found there were only 5 of the half dozen bagels we ordered. one of the five bagels was also a different flavor than what we had ordered. when i returned to receive the missing bagel, the woman who filled our order insisted that she got the order right and told us to leave. when we showed her that there were only 5 bagels, she said "fine, what do you want". i asked for a cinnamon raisin bagel and she handed me a plain bagel. when we got home, the bagel sandwiches were also made with incorrect ingredients.i have worked in food service for much of my life, so i generally very patient and friendly with food service workers, however this employee was beyond rude. it is one thing to mess up an order, but it is another to accuse a customer of lying when you are the one at fault. and at the very least, be able to count to five.the quality of the bagels is usually good. quite regularly, a batch of bagels will not have risen properly and be tough and gummy. i have excused regular mistakes from this brueggar's location for years, but this recent rude employee really made me look at all these issues over the years in a different light. ill be taking my business elsewhere.

Highly incompetent, not to mention rude. Went in there on a Monday for a breakfast sandwich which they made wrong, went back in and asked for them to remake it and the Middle aged white guy behind the counter snatched it out of my hand without so much as a “I’m sorry about that. Let me fix it for you.” Treat your customers nicer. Also you can tell there are several teenage newbies training at once who don’t have a clue what they’re doing. Melrose location is much more ideal, take your business there.

I got a toasted bagel with butter. Delicious! But after I paid, I discovered that unlike the photos, there was not a single chair or table where I could enjoy that bagel! So, great product but terrible location.

Wow what a mess. Long lines. Always messing up orders. They are often sold out out of various flavors of bagels. No interior seating. Workers look like they hate their job. A couple years ago, this cafe was a popular meeting spot for people to get breakfast and sit down and chat. Whoever took over is running it into the ground. I'm not going to blame the workers, because I am sure they are poorly trained and poorly managed. But I won't be going back.

So my boss has never had a lox and cream cheese on a bagel sandwich so I stopped into bruegger's Bagels on the way into work and grabbed the daily catch, I think that's what it was called It had to deal with lox on a bagel. Everyone in there was really quick getting the order together, I even saw one woman come in and they filled her coffee up in a to-go container which was really interesting.

Hit or miss. I never know what I am going to get as far as service when I come here. The Winchester location has been this way for years, in my opinion the service was considerably worse prior to the pandemic. I stopped coming here for a couple years because of how frustrating the service was. Decided to give it another chance 6 months ago. The service has improved, but is not always great, depends on who you get. However, the bagels are consistently good, the cream cheese is good and most of the time they do a decent job making the various sandwiches which are also good, especially the smoke salmon sandwich. Frustrating today which is why I am writing this review. A new person was making my sandwiches, which is fine, but give the new workers better training and supervision. Ordered 3 sandwiches and received one, (good thing I checked the bag) "where are the other two? and then was given the other two after a couple minutes of confusion. Got home, none of the sandwiches were warmed up or sliced. Two were bacon egg and cheese and the cheese was not melted, just a square right out of the packaging on top of cold bacon in between a cold bagel and a cold egg. Only open until 2:00. Strange. No chairs for in restaurant dining. Strange. Suggestion: place the order and pay. Have someone friendly and cheerful at the register. Get an order number. The people making the order have a screen or paper to see the order rather than having to memorize it or ask you your oder 5 times and then still get it wrong. Sit at a table with a chair and wait until your number is called. Decide to eat there or take it home.

I going to the Melrose location from now on, they have respectful management. But the woman (who I think is the new owner) with the red hair in space buns at the Winchester location, is the most unprofessional and rudest person that has ever served me food.Yells at customers to move around in a rude tone, flattened my sandwiches down and left giant finger printers, and has no positive personality at all, you can tell the employees have zero respect for her. Also the teenage girl at the register in the hoodie and red gloves (who i’m told is her daughter) rarely talks, always has attitude, is always complaining to other employees about her job, always has headphones in and whispers to customers that have to ask her to repeat what she said.

Salt bagels!!! Yummy. Could you please fix your toaster to brown the bagels. Thanks!!! Why would we want them just warmed up and not toasted when they are put in a toaster? 100% baffling.
