The only reason I gave this place three stars instead of four was because they had a very poor selection of beer and bourbon. It looked like most of the taps were not working and they didn’t have a Sam Boston or a Heineken. I ended up getting a Corona light. Light beers aren’t my thing so I ended up switching to Maker’s Mark rocks. Other than a poor beer selection the place is very nicely decorated and the lady who waited on me could not have been nicer. We were there last a couple of years ago and really unimpressed. Surprise! My wife was bored today and said let's try JW's. So we did. They had the best empanadas I ever tasted - they had onions in them and that makes them special. The Oysters were outstanding (my wife loves good oysters raw so this is from her - I think they are snots unless fried) and we also had great calamari and buffalo wings with our cocktails. So a long over-due update from my previous review in 2016--JW's at that time was a bit upscale with banquettes, tony bar, and had a sister restaurant called Marco for lighter fare although the two often shared menus. The owner was also owns the mini-strip mall where it is located, added a large adjacent space for parties, special events.
