The food was great and quick and curdious service. Everything was clean, especially during this pandemic. The prepositions are manageable and they're ready to bring you more if you ask for it. If anything, going to a Hotpot at least once in your life is a must.

I had a really good experience at Chuan Shabu. $20 for AYCE lunch is a good deal. Additional charge for special broths. (between $3 - 5) You can choose up to 3 broths, but my friend and I opted for two. (herbal & malay) The Malay broth was flavorful but not too spicy. The Herbal broth was okay, nothing too impressive. There are a variety of options to try for meats, vegetables, and seafood items. My favorites included the shrimp dumplings, meats (lamb, angus sirloin, beef tripe), and fish tofu. For sauces, they provide you a list to choose from and they bring you them in separate plates. I preferred dipping with the BBQ sauce and hot chili oil. For a drink, I ordered a Lychee Bellini martini to complement my meal. Next, interior-wise, I expected the restaurant to be larger, however, I think the decor is nice and the ambiance is a good setting for groups, especially since it closes later than other restaurants. The service was also great and attentive as well. The restaurant, although not very spacious, was also very hygienic. Overall, I would return for lunch again but would also like to visit for dinner for more seafood options.

I can't speak to any details about this restaurant with regards to interior, cleanliness, service because I got their food on an Uber Eats delivery. I will say however that the food was fine. Nothing special but certainly quite serviceable for Chinese food. They do make a basil fried rice which was quite good and I've never had anything like that before so I would give them a good plus for that but the wonton soup was under par. Very much like dishwater with a few doughy wontons floating around inside. They also did not include the requested crispy noodles that I had requested. I would go back and try a few more menu items and do another review.

Having traveled to Northern China many times hot pot is truly one of my favorite foods and experience in Harbin China. Chuan Shaba brings that experience right to my front door! Great experience and great dining!

Tasty but very expensive. I've been here many times and it's always a joy. Got the Japanese Miso broth and it was so so amazing. For next time I should remember: more carrots and potatoes (they don't give a lot for one order) and probably order only one meat (for brian... the chicken is what he liked because it was so thinly sliced). also we shared a smoothie and I love their smoothies.

Got delivery through Grubhub for the Sirloin Hot Pot Combo. I've been here two times in person and can say the delivery tastes as great! The food was still very warm when it arrived. It was great!

I ordered this as a birthday dinner, it was amazing! The food arrived HOT and didn't need to be reheated.My friends all enjoyed their dishes as did I. The only things I didn't like were the dryness of the beef (however their pork is AMAZING) and the quality of the rice.
