“Picked Nick’s Inn for our Burger Saturday! Loved our lunch!!

The employees were all very friendly, great attitudes, working hard, having fun, so nice to see!

The cheeseburger with chili was excellent! Cooked perfectly, good cheese, tasty chili, lots of flavour and not messy to eat. Massive amount of skinny french fries, definitely shareable. Great soda.

Everything was done right. Appears to be a lot of regular customers and a steady stream of new ones. Worth stopping in for a delicious meal!! Highly recommend!!”

The pristine service, the delicious entrees with high quality ingredients and culinary skills, and the cozy atmosphere of a 100 year plus home was amazing. We wished for nothing more. “This has got to be the tastiest Chinese food I’ve ever had, it wasn’t overly salty or spicy or oily, it was just delicious! We ordered the Family dinner for 5, then added Shrimp Chow Mein and Ginger Beef, every dish was a hit! There were 6 of us, I’m sure 10 people could have easily been fed with the amount of leftovers we had! The owner was very friendly, will definitely be our only pick for Chinese takeout in the future 👍”

“Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh when I come. Staff remember me when I come in as “the onion guy” cuz I always get a pile of onions and triple toast! They let me load up my sandwich and don’t skimp on toppings, always leaving my large appetite satisfied! Usually come in with my young kids and staff is always kind, actually communicate with them and listen to their sandwich building instructions. One of my favourite places to eat and get good value for the dollar”

“Really enjoyed the show (what we could hear of it) and the seating. Unfortunately there was a large group of loud men seated off to the side causing quite a distraction. They really should have been asked by Management to be quiet. Jamil was our waiter and he was great! Very quick and attentive. We’ll be going back for another show.”

“If you're looking for a place to grab a beer and chat with friends, consider the Thirsty Lion Tavern 🍺 Atmosphere is a sports style pub, so I imagine this place can get packed when the games on. The service was pretty chill, our server was kind, friendly, was overall great.
The food's pretty good. My party really liked the califlower bites with the sriracha honey sauce, and a beer cheese dip (can't remember what it was called, a bit oily, went down great with more beer. We ended up dipping our califlower bites in it and loved it even more).
I reccomend staying away from the mussels, but that's at my own personal preference. They're served in a broth, which honestly did nothing for the overall flavour for the mussels. From the menus description, I was expecting a creamy white wine sauce. We ended up getting a translucent broth that was pretty much fishy tasting spiced water. I can only describe the experience as bland, saved slightly by the small bits of tomatoes floating in the broth, which honestly felt weird with a white wine broth? Like why add more acidity?

Overall, a nice place to hang out to grab a beer. Stay away from mussels and enjoy the other menu options!”

“Great Lil' Spot to Get some Good Grub. The Beef Dip was absolutely amazing on the Foccoscia bread BUT it's too soft for the Au Jus (just falls apart in a soggy mess and hard to handle) Definitely recommend toasting the bread longer and the Pierogies less (but that's just my opinion) They're a lil' hard on the teefers and like mine just slightly fried. Garlic Parm fries were a Unique upgrade but lacking Garlic Flavor & Value. Would be amazing vs ok with a Pinch more Parm. Atmosphere was Modern,Upgraded, and CLEAN. Loved the Huge Ferns and Cafe' aesthetic. Great Service!!! Drinks always Full. Would definitely come back to try other menu items. Menu has lots to Offer.”

“I've been a regular at the Southwood location for years even though I live right next to the Millrise location. Millrise location's food was horrible, service was horrible though the young lady who was working was by herself on a very busy day. It seems that location will continue to have issues with staffing and horribly prepared food.”

“Ordered from The Tang for the first time, very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food! Ordered the 4 person meal plus some other dishes and we’ll have leftovers for a few days! The curry beef was excellent, and the sweet and sour chicken had light but delicious batter. The gentleman who had our order ready for pick up was very friendly and helpful, we’ll definitely be ordering here again! 👍”

“This is my fav place yet, I have tried about a dozen spots so far including over priced wasabis, sucks no more dine in. But still my go to, worst spot ever was the buffet close to University of Winnipeg, absolutely terrible service, ignored us until we went to leave after having 1 roll each and we just left 20$ on the table and tried to leave. Paid for 1 buffet for 2 people and told them to go fly a kite!!!!”
