“My family and I dined here many, many times prior to Covid. Sunday brunch at the gates has always been a staple in our family.We attended the Sunday brunch a couple weeks ago. We were glad to see that they still offered an array of great options. Carving stations, torpedo shrimp, shrimp cocktail, salmon, fettuccine, breakfast potatoes, omelette station, bacon, homemade soup, salad bar, dessert bar etc.overall the atmosphere, service, experience and food was great!The only negatives I will point out are…1. they ran out of crème brûlée before the brunch was over. (Our absolute favourite and we only got 1 for the whole table - 7 people.. I had asked if they had anymore at 1:00, but they said they were out)2. The eggs Benedict use to be so much better! It seems as though they’re now using a “powder sauce” and making the eggs in forms.We really miss the eggs Benedict they use to make, with the homemade hollandaise sauce.Besides those two minor things, we would highly recommend their Sunday brunch to anyone!We will definitely be back for brunch in the near future!”

“We usually preorder online for pickup in this, we enjoy the food and it is usually made right. The only issue is when the online offer did not work one time and was not applied after it was added at checkout, I mentioned the free cookies deal/offer, the lady at the counter did not really care much to make it right. All she said was that they didn't do anything with the online offer and acted like she could not be bothered about it at all. We had ordered many times here it would be nice to be treated as a valued customer in that one instance. Score 3 because there are other employees who do a good job and didn't let one bad experience with the older lady to give a lower score.Parking: Two areas to park, one in front of the building, the other you access from the side, you can't get from one place to the other.”

“Great amazing coffee - best beans at a great price. Love the San Fran blend. We've been buying for 5 kg bags for the last 6 years and have not found a comparable bean for a better price.In response to the lower reviews - Sunstone is a small business and the owner sells primarily to businesses but permits the general public to purchase beans when he is available. The owner is very friendly and tries his best to accommodate the public but we are neither his primary clientele nor his main source of income. I am not the owner or a relative but have deep respect for capacity restrictions of small business owners.”

“Went for the first time for wing night. They have a good selection of flavours and some interesting ones too. There was a sign posted at the front to wait to be seated but no one came for about 5-10 minutes. One of the waitresses came up and took the sign off. It was super busy and loud since they had a lot going on but the service was speedy and great! I tried 2 different flavours and they were good but it did appear like some of the wings were undercooked, probably because they were packed and crazy busy!”

They had a waitress trainee that was so friendly & efficient, and the person training her was amazing & very patient. “I've been here quite a few times and I really enjoy it. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The only thing I was a bit unimpressed with was the fries, they were well seasoned and the dill dip is amazing as always, but the fries weren't quite on par with what I'm used to from them, not sure if they changed them or not but they seemed almost undercooked and had a different texture then I'm used to. I'll definitely try them again another time because they're usually a 10 out of 10 so maybe just an off night for them. Overall everything else was great and I definitely recommend!”

“We would usually order from a restaurant on academy called Hi Ball. They are closed for a month so we started looking elsewhere. We are mostly disappointed with the quality and quantity of food from most Chinese food restaurants so we don’t like to explore very much when ordering Chinese. The Tang Chinese food is the best Chinese food I have ever ordered. We ordered 8 dishes total. The quantity of food per dish is generous and perfect for the price. The quality of the food is easily the best I’ve had ever. The ginger beef came dry with a sauce to poor over yourself,. It wasn’t sugary or thick, it was clearly home made by an authentic chef, as was every dish. The vegetables were gigantic in every dish. The food was literally steaming hot on the table. When my friends picked it up, they were so kind and added an extra dish in for free because it wasn’t ready to the minute of what was requested. I will only be ordering from here from now on when Chinese is on the menu.”

“I can honestly say I have tried every one of their products! From their mead wine to their honey. From their beer to their ice tea! Every single one of their products is amazing! For the ice tea, my absolute favourite is their cucumber melon and my wife’s is the pina colada! As for their honey, I use their lemon flavour in my tea every morning!
