The pristine service, the delicious entrees with high quality ingredients and culinary skills, and the cozy atmosphere of a 100 year plus home was amazing. We wished for nothing more. “This has got to be the tastiest Chinese food I’ve ever had, it wasn’t overly salty or spicy or oily, it was just delicious! We ordered the Family dinner for 5, then added Shrimp Chow Mein and Ginger Beef, every dish was a hit! There were 6 of us, I’m sure 10 people could have easily been fed with the amount of leftovers we had! The owner was very friendly, will definitely be our only pick for Chinese takeout in the future 👍”

“Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh when I come. Staff remember me when I come in as “the onion guy” cuz I always get a pile of onions and triple toast! They let me load up my sandwich and don’t skimp on toppings, always leaving my large appetite satisfied! Usually come in with my young kids and staff is always kind, actually communicate with them and listen to their sandwich building instructions. One of my favourite places to eat and get good value for the dollar”

“Great Lil' Spot to Get some Good Grub. The Beef Dip was absolutely amazing on the Foccoscia bread BUT it's too soft for the Au Jus (just falls apart in a soggy mess and hard to handle) Definitely recommend toasting the bread longer and the Pierogies less (but that's just my opinion) They're a lil' hard on the teefers and like mine just slightly fried. Garlic Parm fries were a Unique upgrade but lacking Garlic Flavor & Value. Would be amazing vs ok with a Pinch more Parm. Atmosphere was Modern,Upgraded, and CLEAN. Loved the Huge Ferns and Cafe' aesthetic. Great Service!!! Drinks always Full. Would definitely come back to try other menu items. Menu has lots to Offer.”

We’ve been here many times, and when Kyra is working, the service is excellent. She’s attentive, professional, and genuinely takes care of customers. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. We waited roughly 30 minutes just to order drinks, then another 40 minutes waiting for our bill. During that time, the bartender spent a significant amount of time away from the bar socializing, instead of assisting customers. It got so difficult to even find someone to settle our bill that I had to walk through the kitchen and into the adjoining business just to find someone who could help. That’s not only unacceptable service, it’s a safety concern. Even after another manager stepped in from the hotel (he didn’t even work here and graciously helped) and spoke with the bartender, There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the excessive wait, and no attempt to make things right. One good employee (Kyra) shouldn’t be the only reason customers receive good service. This visit completely missed the mark. When you have a bar full of thirsty or hungry customers, your bartender should assist your customers or at the least pay basic attention instead of ignoring your customers waving and trying to get your attention while chatting every woman up while sitting at their table/ seats and joining their booth.”

Millrise location's food was horrible, service was horrible though the young lady who was working was by herself on a very busy day. It seems that location will continue to have issues with staffing and horribly prepared food.”

But still my go to, worst spot ever was the buffet close to University of Winnipeg, absolutely terrible service, ignored us until we went to leave after having 1 roll each and we just left 20$ on the table and tried to leave. Paid for 1 buffet for 2 people and told them to go fly a kite!!!!”
