“I was only in Winnipeg for a few days and I ate here twice because it was THAT good. highly recommend the mushroom toast, fried chicken on toast, and rootbeer pudding. unique flavor combinations, excellent service, fair prices. and the drinks were great. my husband said that's the best mocha he has ever had. 10/10“
“Small, charming, literal hole in the wall. The breakfast was cooked perfectly and the portions were excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. The breakfast menu was a little limited. What we ordered came quickly and hot. The wife and I will return. A 4.8 rating is well earned and prices are standard for a nice breakfast out. The 2 hour free parking on the street on Saturdays makes this a no brainer for a nice meal.“
“Never even knew this place existed, are the Iranian owners new?? Always thought it was some greasy diner. Great food, we all had burgers, hearty patties, very filling and tasty. Shakes are thick and delicious. Can't wait to come back for breakfast and make our way through the rest of the menu.“
“We had a really good experience in yafa cafe. We have come here for iftaar recently and the hosts have been really welcoming. Throughout the meal, we have got complimentary dates, drinks, tea. Our server cherryll has been helpful all evening. The owners of the restaurant were really kind and generous. The whole environment of the restaurant was very cozy.“
“The yummiest gluten free, vegan breakfast sandwich EVER!!! Comfort food yet healthy, doesn't get better than this place. Owners and atmosphere makes you feel right at home which is a plus too. Delicious, healthy vegan soups. Awesome, homemade desserts. Can't make it for the price!!! Generous portions.Vegetarian options: Sooo deliciousDietary restrictions: Gluten freeVegan“
“We ordered the 4 Sharma platter special from the Munroe Have location. The 4 of us were really impressed with our meals. So full of different flavours and generous portions. Ramallah Cafe is now high on the list of must have take-out. Soooooo good!“
“I have always admired Winnipeg architecture ?The Modern Electric Lunch is a trendy Winnipeg Breakfast & Lunch spot in the heart of Winnipeg in one of the original old brick industrial type buildings; the perfect spot to join friends or family for a great breakfast or lunch. From the contracting beautifully old exterior and modern interior, the tile artwork featuring downtown Winnipeg, large windows bringing in the morning light and the amazing food, everything complimented each other. The food was fresh and delicious ?The chorizo hash was on a bed of refried beans offering a uniqueness I've yet to have but was splendid. The eggs benedict was gorgeous and it too tasted phenomenal. We saw the sour dough toast at a neighboring table and had to have it. It came with an earl grey fig jam that was to die for.Service was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!“
“Great teamwork from the staff to make sure the community is always known of what’s going on. The staff make sure you feel welcome and like you are in a safe place not only for you but for your child as well. When I lived on Edison ave I would take my dog with me and they always provided a water bowl for him. I loved going there as it was an easy walk for me to handle. I’d love to live back in that area to be able to go back to scout. I also know they do a lot of stuff with Heathers Pretty Parties so that makes it an even cooler place to go to with kids! I can’t wait to be able to take my niece there!“
“My parents and I eat here once a week. The staff, food, EVERYTHING is FABULOUS!! But make a reservation or u may have trouble getting a table. They are only open until 2 pm so it's busy at times and the place is not big. Staff are the sweetest & the food is wonderful. Reasonable prices. So glad we have this in Transcona. They do a lot for the community as well.Parking: You may have to park & walk a little. Depends on how busy the restaurant is at that time.“
“I love the atmosphere here. The coffee is great & consistent. I enjoy the natural lighting and high ceilings so much. It makes for a great place to sit down, read, study, journal, look around at the houseplants or just drink coffee while relaxing. Great place to stay off your phone tbh! ?“
“This is an absolutely delightful local coffee shop. The atmosphere is super quaint and cozy with couches and good coffee and pastries. Hosts a delightful open mic night on the last Friday of each month. The owner Allison is an absolute gem. Love this place!“
“Visited CIBO Waterfront Cafe today for lunch and was thoroughly impressed! The Arancini was a crispy delight, perfectly complemented by their house marinara and a generous sprinkle of Pecorino. Moving on to the main course, the Tuscan Salmon was A+. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the combination of turmeric rice, creme fraiche, sundried tomato, capers, garlic, and marinated tomato added layers of flavours that were both refreshing and comforting. Highly recommend!“
“I've been there twice and so far I've liked the loaves and croissants; the mauricettes and pretzels are excellent; the tropézienne tart is good even if the cherry is a little surprising. On the other hand, I found their pineapple-coconut pastry rather ordinary.I will go back there !“
“Stopped by just to check it out and ordered a pork bun and a latte. Pork bun was very tasty and also cute - had a little nose, eyes, and ears. The pork filling was absolutely delicious and the bun itself was soft and tasty. My latte was very creamy and smooth. They also had a cute assortment of plushes, stickers, and other novelty items. Only downside was that their cooler seemed to have been out of order and some of the selections like the cucumber and salmon sandwich were unavailable - hopefully it'll be back up soon! I will definitely be visiting again sometime soon.“
“I recently visited this place in Winnipeg and was blown away by the exceptional kabab and rice dishes. The flavors were rich, and the skewers were perfectly grilled. Additionally, the shisha experience added a delightful touch to the evening, making it a must-visit spot for anyone seeking top-notch Middle Eastern cuisine and a great atmosphere in the city.Parking: Good parking lots of space“
“Mr Ralph Carico is a key piece of business, I invested 1btc with him on my trading account and he managed it so well, I could not have a better partner to manage such a large number of money All the support he gave is sensational, Contact him Ralph Carico“
“Never been here before till today. We had the chicken salad sandwhich, turkey avocado bacon sandwich, veggie wrap and also can't forget this delicious salt carmel cake. To die for !!! Food was so good, the broccoli soup was amazing!! Service was good as well. Great place I will definitely be coming back again.“
“This cafe is located in a modern furniture store that offers amazing menu. The menu is simple and yet offers you culinary experience. From the presentation to taste, you will not be disappointed. I love lattes and they do it so well. Great service. Great place.Parking: The place is conveniently located in a mall that has a free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: This is a kid-friendly dish that children will surely enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: The place is spacious enough to accommodate wheelchairs and other assistive devices.“
“Come here often between transfers on my way to work. Staff is always friendly, and I really appreciate that when it's busy they let me know things might take a few extra minutes, so I never miss my bus.Typically get the breakfast sandwiches and a white mocha, which are always amazing (I love that they use farmer sausage for the sausage one), but my one true love here is the apple cheesecake bar. The apple pie to apple cheesecake flavour ratio is superb.“
“I really love this place, the soups are always why I keep coming back. The Hungarian, borsh, mushroom, peas.. and so on, they are all delicious. I often order a liter to go to eat later. Their pastries are amazing, the carrot cakes and date bars are ma favorites. Their imperial cookies are quite big. Sometimes it is hard to get a place to sit or parking since the entire parking it says for that private club place. But even when the place is full, you can still have a good conversation with your friends without yelling like at some other coffee places.“
“Cute and cozy coffee shop. Staff was friendly and spoke French, which was great. The handcrafted maple latte and chocolate croissant were to die for!I wish they were open later in the evening as they are one of a few that are laptop and student friendly.“
“For me, I found the place too noisy and busy. The tables were small. It was difficult managing the game and drinks. It smelled strongly of “people”.The service was awesome! They were helpful and kind. The selection of board games was amazing!“
“A quaint coffee roaster confidently located near many tourist attractions in the heart of Winnipeg. The coffee was hot, the food was fresh and we truly enjoyed it finding on an early morning brisk walk. I was introduced to my first "Pro-nut," a donut made with protein that my daughter enjoyed.“
“This is a friendly neighbourhood coffee shop with a wide variety of hot and cold drinks and great baked treats from a local bakery. I do meet friends there for coffee but my favourite thing is to take a book and enjoy some me-time. They have a small, but functional patio area in the good weather and the added awning this summer ear made it even better. They also sell unique, local items that make good gifts.“
“This place is amazing. The service was excellent. They had a record player playing music with a selection of records next to it. It looked like one corner was set up for live music/performances. They had bulletin board advertising local musicians and artists. I loved the vibe of this place. I will definitely be back. The coffee was amazing! They also served beer here.“
“The Double Dare cake is amazing, and we also love the rum balls. Staff is always kind and helpful. We have been visiting them for many years when they were previously known as “Pastry Castle”, and they have always been consistently very good!“
“I had the most friendly and helpful server at your location on Academy on 2 different Friday nights. I was slightly overwhelmed with the options and she had great suggestions. Her and her coworker were so kind and obviously were a great team. Beautiful art on my coffee and amazing pastries. Will definitely be back“
“It was a wonderful experience- They offer what I feel are the best chocolate zucchini loaf, red beet with coconut muffin that I ever tasted. And, I especially enjoyed their decaf coffee ☕️ ☕️☕️☕️☕️ <- They get 5 coffee cups (stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)“
“This was my first time and our waitress Chantel was very pleasant and I had a couple questions about the menu that she was very helpful with and the food was good to boot . Definitely will be back, only negative is I think the food is a little pricey for what you get.“
“08/02/2023. Hadn’t ?n to San Vito for a while. The atmosphere is very relaxing a great place to meet friends, which is what l was doing. The staff are exceptional and customer focussed. The prices are also goodSince I am not a coffee or tea drinker I ordered hot water and a cinnamon bun.The only thing that was not perfect was the cinnamon bun was doughy. The friend I was meeting mentioned the doughy cinnamon burin also.Yes I will be back. San Vito is a local GEM.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is large and will accommodate a wheelchair.“
“I’ve been here twice! Once alone and another time with friends. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but I do love myself a hot drink. The first time I went there I felt a bit intimidated with the barista and a little rushed so I bought a pastry and walked out as fast as I could. The second time was a bit more pleasant, I ordered a white hot chocolate and a croissant to enjoy inside. The white hot chocolate was okay and could’ve used more sweetness but the croissant was great and would buy again. The barista this time was very nice and patient with us and even recommended his fav drink to my friend when he asked. And the space is simple yet beautiful. ☺️“
“I recently found out about this bakery and something told me not to hesitate ordering even though I had no idea what anything tasted like! I recently went gluten, dairy and soy free, I ordered a mixed berry pie, chicken pot pie, sourdough cinnamon buns, oatmeal raisin cookies, sourdough bread and sourdough hamburger buns.. the cookies.. to die for, the sourdough bread.. it’s killing me how delish it is.. and everything else looks so yummy I’m trying hard to space it out so I don’t put myself in a food coma. Do not hesitate to order, you will not regret it. Thank you @cocoabeans for providing such a delish alternative tt people who have food intolerances.. #customerforlife ❤️❤️❤️“
“Excellent place to go with family. Very good food, nice location with good scenic view outside the windows and very friendly service. Server Richard was amazing and went above and beyond. Thank you for offering the fantastic experience. We would love to go back here for sure.Parking: Lots of good options for free parking close to restaurant.“
“I went here on a Sunday afternoon to study and the place was pretty bumping - there were no empty tables. I went to a nearby shop and came back 1.5 hr later when they had some open tables. The barista, Carissa, greeted me even though she was busy making orders. Even though she was basically running the place alone (since it was so busy), she took the time to give me recommendations. I tried the veggie sandwich, lemon squish cookie, and a pistachio latte. Everything tasted great, the store was clean, and there was light music playing in the background. I'll definitely come back!!The only downside is the wifi here... it doesn't connect properly so I had to create a mobile hotspot on my phone.“
“I didn't eat here so can't comment on that but the staff were very helpful in getting my group a table.Parking could be a problem. I don't know the area but managed to get close street parking, otherwise I might be a bit concerned. The entertainment was amazing (Robert Andreas). It was my first time there but would definitely go again for the right entertainment“
“I had the most friendly and helpful server at your location on Academy on 2 different Friday nights. I was slightly overwhelmed with the options and she had great suggestions. “An excellent recluse for writing, reading and creating. The spot is spacious, with excellent seating and clean tables. Our server was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The chocolate croissant and the seasonal drink of lavender latte was so good! A definite recommendation if you're ever in Winnipeg and need a pick-me-up.“
“My husband and I agreed the smoked salmon with eggs, aioli sauce, arugula with capers, and sourdough bread was the best breakfast we have ever had. We also had a latte each and shared a grilled cinnamon bun. I have been here before with a group of friends — everyone enjoyed their meals. We will be back.“
“I went to to Harrison’s for the first time while out on a nice walk with my friend and her dog. We had wanted to stop for a coffee and noticed the little shop on Waterfront. Not only was the Coffee great but they were a pet friendly establishment and provided water outside for them to have a drink as well. I’m a forever customer now.“
“a big group of us popped into indulge as it was next to our hotel and the staff was so kind and patient with us. not to mention the CUTE VALENTINES CUPS???? the pastries were delicious and i would definitely recommend this to anyone staying nearby, perfect spot for breakfast or a break in your “
“There are booths next to a big television and tables and chairs here! I ordered a long John pastry and it was pretty yummy. The manager is very friendly and nice. The coffee my friend had was good. There new coffee flavor is better than their old style. Soda is a bit expensive here. They only have the can version and not the refillable soda cup machine style.“
“The pastries are amazing here! By far the best I've tasted in Winnipeg. The cannoli's are so light. I am a chocolate freak but I also love their lemon fillings in various pastries. I have been meaning to go here forever but just hadn't gone it. Now I can't stay away!“
“Quaint coffee shop inside a bike shop. They have featured drinks that change frequently so you can try new things. I usually order a matcha latte but had to try their new featured drink: the matcha guava! You can also get some beans and have it grounded for what you need. Your fur babies are also welcome and they have readily available water and treats so what's not to love?“
“Super great vibes to study or meet up with friends to chat. They have a lot of a seating that are filled with sunlight. I also got a vanilla latte and it was delicious! The coffee beans are from Little Sisters, so I wasn't surprised that it was so good.“

“Very friendly staff and great service. Variety of coffees and teas available, fresh food at a reasonable price. You can dine in or take out as you desire. Lots of tables available to dine in and efficient staff.Highly recommended and will return!Vegetarian options: They offer vegeterian breakfast sandwich and a vegeterian lunch sandwich. And you can always ask to modify the sandwiches if require to do so.Additionally, if you would like to drink lattes they do have non-dairy milks available.“
“Yes, agree with most other reviewers, absolutely fabulous Eggs Benedict & prepared & served quite uniquely! Served on Bannock, (a nice & tasty change) but their version of hollandaise sauce is all their own and is truly divine. Likewise, for their smash potatoes, they came with an Aioli sauce drizzled over them, and the taste was different, but so so good! Will absolutely keep coming back and have also been telling everyone about this place. The space is quite small though, so is a little cramped. We were seated in front of the counter, which is near the door, and every time someone entered, which was a lot as they're so busy, it was quite chilly so that made for some of the experience not being ideal. All of the staff seemed very professional, kind, and aim to please.“
