“I’ve been here twice for takeout. The man who took my order (the owner, I assume) was very friendly. The food has been excellent. I’ve now ordered 4 veggie combos and a total of eight veggie samosas. The combos had generous portions and each item was delicious and distinct. I had veggie samosas filled with lentils. They were also delicious and spicy. Everything was fresh. I highly recommend you give them a go.“
“After following them online for a while, I finally had a chance to try Engocha’s food today and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the mixed combination and the vegetarian combination and both were phenomenal. The injera was fluffy and delicious and each component of the meals were perfectly seasoned, and flavourful without being greasy. Their injera is made from 100% teff flour which is naturally gluten free. I have not found another restaurant in the city that serves gluten free injera without a minimum of 2 days notice. We ordered a coffee ceremony, great respect and gratitude to the wonderful woman, whose name I did not ask, who told us interesting stories from life in Ethiopia. The coffee is amazing.
