Ive finally found my eatery! The food is soso tasty! And the people who run Roughage are just the nicest!Vegetarian options: Everything is top notch vegan!Dietary restrictions: If dairy aint your jam, the mac n cheese is a must!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, seating is moovable to accomodate and bathroom is on main level
The best exclusively vegan restaurant in Winnipeg, Roughage serves up a small, but well executed, selection of comfort foods. I would not say it is budget-friendly, however it is worth noting that everything is made from scratch from the seitan "meats" to the sauces to the strawberry sauce in the milkshake, thus making it worth the extra dollars. Service has always been welcoming and friendly.Bonus that all takeaway comes in compostable containers!
