“Review Update:We have seen a major improvement in the service and food since my last review and they are back to being the best sushi spot in Annapolis. Highly recommend!We’ve been going here for years and have told all of our neighbors it’s the best sushi in Annapolis. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we ordered we’ve been really disappointed with the quality of the fish. The yellow tail has been chewy and overly fishy, the tuna was such a deep red it looked like it had been dyed and had no flavor, and the scallop was just a mess of mush and again overly fishy. I shared out disappointment with a mgr who said she was going to call me back and never did. Not sure we’ll be back, such a bummer.“
“The teriyaki salmon blew my mind. I have never had a flavor stop me mid first bite and active a new taste buds. I can't explain how fantastic all the food here was. By far the best Sushi I have ever had in my life, let alone the single best piece of Salmon I have ever had. I live an hour away from this place and would 100% drive an hour again to eat here!!!“
“This is always a must have whenever we are visiting Annapolis. This is the freshest tasting Thai food we have ever had. It’s nice to experience Thai food that isn’t just about the heat, not that you can’t get it hot if you want to, but it doesn’t feel as though it’s the main focus. Our favorite dish by far is the crab fried rice, would highly recommend this to anyone who likes crab meat or food in general. We all crave this dish. We have had nothing but great experiences every time we’ve been.“
“I'm writing this review in the restaurant's parking lot because I didn't want to forget to do it...I LOVE Taichi! It is my favorite place to eat. Every time I come into the store, the people are so nice and kind! The Tonkotsu ramen is superb!!! I tried the new ramen place that opened up in Pasadena (Kanji Noodle Bar), and while it wasn't awful, it was nowhere near as good as Taichi! Truly. They are the best! The woman with black hair that took my order today was so sweet (I forgot to ask her name)! Please, even if you have to drive a bit farther to get here, it is WORTH IT! I've had the ramen, poke bowl, sushi burrito, and bubble tea. All delicious and made with fresh fish and ingredients! She told me that they simmer the Tonkotsu broth for 10 hours, and it really shows when you taste it! I'm moving soon, and I can honestly say that I will miss Taichi so, so much! ? I'll have to buy a plushie before I go!“
“I was skeptical that it would live up to the positive reviews but it absolutely did! My husband got noodles, which I typically don’t care for, but they were so delicious! I got sushi, and I will be thinking about that sushi for a long time. I can’t wait to go back.“
