“Gong Cha in the Spot is a great spot for delicious and refreshing bubble tea. The Sparkling Peach Lychee is a standout option, with its sweet peach and fragrant lychee flavors and fun, bubbly texture. The staff is always friendly and uses high-quality ingredients, and there's a wide variety of creative drinks to choose from. Whether you're looking for a fun spot to hang out with friends or just want to treat yourself to a tasty drink, The Spot is a great option.“
“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen“
“food was very inventive and good, but it was lacking on actual depth of any type of flavor. The service was quite good though we had to wait five minutes to actually be seated because the there was only one person seating people. The interior is very confusing and crowded and the restaurant decor doesn’t really make sense, the fried chicken was very good and unique so was the scallion pancake however, the pho really didn’t have any flavor and they were using chicken stock for some reason so it didn’t really have much flavor.“
“Came here on a Saturday night, food was excellent but pricey for what it was. Maybe it's because I've been to many mom and pop spots in Queens NY with just as delicious food for half the price nevertheless its a great spot. Highlights include the soup, dumplings, and any of the hand pulled noodle dishes.“
“We came in for lunch yesterday. Served was super helpful with recommendations! The rainbow soup dumplings was 2 of each of their soup dumplings which were all amazing! We also loved the cucumber in garlic sauce. My friend loved the Chongqing noodles! They are a nice vegetarian option with a tasty sauce served with boiled peanuts and a fried egg. We also had the spicy oil wontons. They were very good although I did end up dabbing some of the oil off. Looking forward to coming back and trying other things!!“
“Zen is my "go to" place in Arlington. Cozy, intimate wine bar that's attached to Asia Bistro, a traditional Asian fusion restaurant. The staff and management are friendly, personable, and always a pleasure to chat with, which is why Zen has such a large cadre of reglars.“
“Today I was in this place, and my first impression when I saw the beef soup I ordered was that it was very good, abundant and light, we also ordered some wings with the sauces on the side, and the frying of the wings was on point, crispy and juicy inside, it has been a very good experience, pleasant music and very good service. We hope to return soon.“
“Spices is always delicious. It’s one of our go-tos in the neighborhood and has literally never been a disappointment. When you have a spot like this, it’s not easy to remember to give them a review. It’s just such a part of our routine you forget how important online reviews are for restaurants. My personal favorites are their lychee martinis and crab wontons. The sushi is always fresh and delicious and the staff are always very kind.“
“Pretty easy breezy "Chipotle-style" causal Asian restaurant. I like BIBIBOP in general because customers has multiple options to create their own personalized bowls. Actually, I wonder if someone has calculated the number of possible bowl combination. This location is pretty clean with a decent amount of seating for small parties (2-3 people). Also, thought the workers at this location were EXTREMELY friendly and polite. While I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at a BIBIBOP, I definitely would revisit this location if I'm in the mood for a rice and noodle bowl and in the area (e.g., within 4-8 blocks of this location).“
“Isshin has one of the BEST service in Adams Morgan. May is the woman who always helps me. I think she’s the manager. She keeps that place running swiftly and smoothly. During the pandemic, Isshin made every effort to keep their place sanitized and customers safe by using PPE and placing hand sanitizers all around. The staff works super fast to get meals ready for you. They always go above and beyond to offer excellent service. I had to order spicy shrimp rice and I was going to arrive close to closing time, May kept Isshin open until I arrived (5 mins late) to pick up my food. I only live 3 blocks away but once I was not able to pick up my food from Isshin. May immediately said, “if you live close, I’ll deliver for you.” And she did just that and as usual with a very pleasant demeanor and genuine smile. May and her team at Isshin make this restaurant one of the best in Adams Morgan. Thank you May and Isshin!!!“
“Ok - so I've honestly turned my nose up at this place in recent years because it feels like people love it for the novelty (it's in a Days Inn motel) and not the food. But real talk, I ordered the cumin lamb, and I put in the notes: "I AM ASIAN PLEASE MAKE VERY SPICY" - and Panda Gourmet delivered. I was hurting, and it was so good. Their cumin lamb was so flavorful and sooooo spicy. It honestly rivals Bobs Shanghai in Rockville (which is very high praise because I'm obsessed with theirs). Panda Gourmet's mapo tofu is a lil weak, but next time, I'll put the same note on it too and maybe they'll kick it up a notch.“
“So tasty, what a gem!! I ordered the CURRY LAKSA NOODLE Soup, pictured. It can be all plant based - I asked for mushrooms, spinach and broccoli to be added/substituted for the chicken, and with no hesitation they accommodated me! I'm so pleased with this Union Station fast casual option, located on the second level. If you take the stairs opposite the Amtrak ticket counter, you'll find it with big open air seating. This dish also includes tofu, vegetables, rice sticks & egg noodle combination in a coconut curry broth, with bean sprouts, fresh! green beans, and corn. Amazing, and spicy warm. They have non spicy foods, too. I'll upload the current menu.“
“We ordered Sour Vegetable Fish Soup, Stir Fry Bok Choy, and Green Pepper Chicken (rice is complimentary) for three people and we were stuffed to the brim. Note there are not many space or tables around (only 3) to dine in at the restaurant. Hence we did take out instead. Great substitute for Szechuan Great Wall which unfortunately closed down a few weeks ago. This is the closest that one can come to authentic chinese food in the district. Would love to try other dishes in the future.“
“#CeliacReviews: While visiting DC, went here 2x. Beside the menu being 100% gluten-free, it’s absolutely delicious. I cannot complain about anything and I want to sing Bibibop’s praises:? Varied menu including set bowls (vegetarian option) and make your own- all big portions for a very reasonable price!? I was so happy I could finally have japchae (sweet potato noodles) and bulgogi (seasoned beef) again without worry.? Food was fresh and tasted just as good the next day.? Free miso soup in store!!? The GF chocolate chip cookie was delicious, and my non-GF friends also thought so.?? Staff was extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful during both visits!? Great rewards app, even got a free bowl.Pictured: Bibibop fan favorite & make your own bowl with their take on bulgogi.Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten-free restaurant with Korean and Japanese influences.“
“Damn good Chinese food. Local spot too! All the food I've ever ordered from here was not only fresh, but exceptionally great portions. Highly recommend their vegetable eggs rolls & their General Tso chicken. You won't be disappointed!“
“Nice little ramen place! Came here today for the first time. We ordered some appetizers before ordering some ramen dishes. For appetizers we ordered Shanghai Steamed Soup Bao, grandmas style pancakes, and crazy fish appetizer. I really liked the appetizers we ordered. For our meals I ordered a grilled chicken and my girlfriend ordered the signature. The broths for both were creamy and tasted similar. Service was good too. Overall I would visit again“
“New to the area, and was eager to find a local Thai spot. Had the pad se ew and crab fried rice delivered, and boy was it delicious. Not too fishy on the crab, which I certainly appreciated. Will easily be ordering from this place again. Thank you!“
“We love Kam and 46 and are lucky enough to live near many of the places where their food truck operates - but Kam and 46 pulled out ALL of the stops when we asked them to cater our welcome party for our wedding at the Mess Hall in NE DC! Kam and 46 set up an incredible menu for us including ahi tuna nachos (to die for), lumpia, noodles and ube bread pudding for dessert - honestly it blew the actual wedding meal out of the water by a long shot, it was all anyone could talk about. Elaine and Vanessa are wonderful - and we love seeing them around DC! Enjoy their food truck but also reach out for events, they did an incredible (and DELICIOUS) job!“
“Large restaurant in the center of the city without a wait and good food. Pad Thai portion was generous and tasted good. Other dishes at the table got a thumbs up: sesame noodles and spicy pork. It's a good place to enjoy a meal after walking around the mall.“
“Hands down the best Pho Ga I've had in the area. Their beef based Pho is very good, but others do it better. Also, currently the best iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk I've ever had, but note that I don't like coffee normally. Fast service, cheap, hot steamy deliciousness. The ambiance and atmosphere are mainly for speed and efficiency, but who cares! If you have a small party, expect to share a table with another small group when crowded. I always feel better after a bowl of theirs.“
“A small restaurant with a large menu of Chinese and other Asian dishes. My friend and I shared Singapore Noodle Vegetable ($15.95) and White Meat Orange Chicken ($16.95). We enjoyed our lunch and noticed how good all the food being served looked. Located close to the Metro and just a few blocks from the Phillips.“
“Fresh sushi & fantastic lunch specials! Everyone from presidents, to congressmen, to celebrities have dined here & loved the food & service as evident by the numerous signed pictures on the wall. This restaurant is also a quick walk away from the National Mall & is a perfect quick lunch while out “
“I could eat this food everyday! It is so good and light you can't stop eating it. I normally just get there spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls (because I'm allergic to avocado) but they have these lunch bowls that look Amazing! I trying those next!“
“I've ordered from this place sooo much. I always get the sashimi, I usually get the sashimi platter. This last time I got the sashimi appetizer + vegetable dumplings. I have learned that this is one of the sushi places that plays with the term, "white fish." Some places use it for white tuna, some use it for yellowtail etc. I got the sushimi appetizer as it was advertised as salmon, tuna, and white fish--my favorites, except not the white fish I wanted lol. This was more translucent, and half-pink. That was my gamble. Can't really tell what the white sashimi I get in the platter is, I think its white tuna, but I won't make the mistake again.Nice, solid slices of shaved ginger. Good if you're sick! I do wish the sashimi came with a condiment cup like the veggie dumplings did. Veggie dumplings were fine, nice and plump. Also love that the place is open late--I've been a night owl my whole life, so works for me!5 stars overall. I've only been in-person once, and it was very pleasant. You need to be let in, which doesn't take long. Lots of randos wandering around Chinatown so I get it.“
“Red Ginger is a hidden gem, and if you're wondering what to try, go straight for the cashew chicken - you'll thank me later. It's a no-frills spot, with not much seating inside, making it essentially a carry-out haven. The upside? If you opt for takeout, it's quick and efficient. Plus, the prices are surprisingly affordable, adding to the appeal of this little culinary find. Don't underestimate the simplicity; Red Ginger packs a flavorful punch, especially with that cashew chicken.“
“The food at either location has been consistently amazing any time I’ve gotten take out. I primarily go to the Grubb Road location, my favorite dish when they have it is the Japanese curry, but the sushi and wok/kitchen meals are top notch!!“
“I rarely write reviews but I have to give this place credit. They have really good food. I'm vegetarian so I usually get the Tofu dishes. There are no weird aftertaste or smells like the food from some of the other carry outs in the area. The vegetables are fresh and actually taste like vegetables. Lol. The cashier is isn't rude. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area.“
“The prices are decent and I enjoyed my Chicken Teriyaki very much. They have great portions as well, which gave me the chance to get two meals in one. Dinner on Monday, lunch on Tuesday! The service was done the "quickway" they take orders with precision and double check everything before sending it to the kitchen. The setup is decent, booth like seating and there's a station to collect your food and grab condiments or a drink. There's ample parking around, which makes the dining in experience even better.“
“This has been a go to spot in college park for years now. Their pad se ew is delicious and fresh. Their pho is also great, however overpriced. Never really had to wait long for a table, and pho comes out quick. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.“
