Although there were few people on the terrace and we only wanted to drink a cup of coffee for 15 minutes, we were turned away by the young woman at the entrance with the remark that she could bring us the coffee outside and we could have it on the picnic tables in front of the parking lot could drink. After we insisted, we were mercifully assigned a table outside. The waiter who served the coffee also seemed a bit harsh and unfriendly. Not exactly the usual polite American hospitality!

Kudos to Carroll’s Creek for a superb wine dinner last evening. The food was so delicious, service was impeccable and was accompanied by great Argentinian wines. We always have really good meals here, but the dinner last evening was outstanding in every way. Thank you to the sommelier, chef, kitchen staff, and servers who made for such an enjoyable evening.

Excellent restaurant with exceptional sea food and service. The tempura battered soft shell crabs are particularly good. Terrific choice for a large group.

Consistently great food and service. Fantastic happy hour if you can snag a seat. Love Carrol's Creek!

Very nice restaurant on the water, with 2.5 hour parking validation. The rockfish over risotto is very good and a nice portion. I'd swap the risotto in future as it was flavorless and not creamy. It was tasted like boiled water and could benefit from a creamier consistency, seasoning or mild cheese. The calamari had an air crip batter, mildly seasoned and a tad over cooked. The bread pudding tasted like a plain donut instead of glazed as described but paired well enough with the ice cream. I think added flavor or sweetness to the actual breading would make it wonderful but it's likely a good selection for bread pudding fans. All of their desserts are house made so I'll have to make my way through some options. The service, ambiance and view are nice. I enjoyed the experience enough to return to try additional items. The hai curry account squash was flavorful but unfortunately the squash was hard, likely undercooked. I assume that's not the standard and maybe it was rushed since it was ordered after the meals. Something to note to the waiter in case you do want to order it.

Very good seafood. Although the crab cake was good, the rockfish was better.

Had tuna stack appetizer sea bass special and Thai shrimp/scallops entrees all excellent. Service was very good as well. Opted out of dessert this time as couple seated behind us was reseated and seemed loud/upset so we skipped small batch ice cream dessert which is usually excellent! We will be back !

Great location when in Annapolis and the cuisine is a mainstay for the Chesapeake inspired dishes. You have the big seat in the house at the Spa Creek.

Carrol's Creek Cafe in Annapolis is an absolute gem! My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed. The outdoor seating was simply delightful, offering picturesque views that perfectly complemented the dining experience. Sitting by the water, with the gentle breeze and the sun setting in the distance, was nothing short of magical. The beer flight was a highlight of the evening. Each brew was expertly selected, showcasing a variety of flavors and styles that delighted my palate. From light and refreshing to bold and robust, there was something for every beer enthusiast to enjoy. But it wasn't just the beer that impressed me; it was the overall ambiance and attention to detail that truly stood out. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the cafe. I can't wait to return and indulge in another perfect evening by the water :)

Great service from walking inside to leaving. Host and hostess were great advising on our validating the parking ticket and walking with us to our table. Sat inside but with a great view of the water. We started with a glass of German reisling, my favorite, and a hefeweisen, one of their 29 rotating taps. We ordered appetizers and salads for our meals at lunch but got everything at once. A great spread! We had the wedge salad and the burrata salad. Very fresh and nice size for our lunch. We also tried the app we had been hearing raving reviews about: the Phyllo covered scallops. Man, what a dish! Little bit of crab and spinach and great sauce. We also tried the crab dip, which was more of a veggie dish with a heart of palm or spinach or artichoke hearts. Good size, but I wish it had more crab in it. Tempted us with dessert but had to get back home to the boys. Def will be back! Jake n kevin

Never disappoints. From first greet, the whole dining experience is what hospitality should be. Prompt friendly greeting, responsive table service, enjoyable refined “down home” atmosphere, and excellent views of the marina, bridge, and skyline of Annapolis. The beverage selection offers options for any preference, and are well presented. The meals…. Ooohhhhhh……. The meals!Always fresh, always beautiful, and always generous. From the raw bar to dessert, Carrol’s Creek Cafe has culinary down to an art!Parking: Plenty street parking but there’s also a 2 level paid parking garage. Ground level of the garage is currently receiving upgrades, but remains open.

Carrol's Creek Cafe has a great location and unmatched view. It's absolutely gorgeous looking into the water and luckily, outside seating is plentiful. I have enjoyed every visit I've made to this establishment. I have found that the food is very delicious and waitstaff has been good. I would go here more often if its prices were more wallet-friendly. This is the first Annapolis restaurant I dined at in 2016 as I was applying to the Naval Academy - it was also the last meal I had in Annapolis upon graduating from USNA. Will always have a special place in my heart!
