No competitor in Annapolis area for the finest in steaks, super wine choices, great bread, and a real steak-house atmosphere. Don't miss it, but bring a full wallet with you. It's worth it.
I have been to Lewne's multiple times, and have never been anything but very satisfied. Professional wait staff, a great menu, and an ambience that is upscale without being stuffy. Great location by the Annapolis waterfront and an active bar. Basically, if you go for the house salad, a shrimp cocktail (or the bacon if you are up for it), and either the Rib Eye or New York Strip, you can't go wrong. Do not get the cheesecake for dessert! They get it from an outside source and it arrives frozen. You can tell by how it crumbles. The Graham cracker crust is too thick. Another give away it is round like a Puck.Everything else was great. The creamed spinach and the mashed are plenty for two or three people. The seafood Bisque is excellent.Good pour on my scotch. My wife got a cab save by the glass and thought it was great. The coffee after dinner was strong but very good.
