One of the most delicious cakes I’ve had in my entire life !! Wow!! My mom ordered a coconut cake for my bridal shower and it was not only stunning but delicious! Palate Pleasers was a key ingredient to our amazing wedding experience recently in Annapolis for my son and his bride. The food and service at the wedding reception were outstanding. Attendees were raving about the food - particularly the main courses - crab cakes and chicken.We had the opportunity to work with Eric again the following morning for a large brunch. Eric set up the coffee and food stations perfectly and, like the evening before, the food was amazing. Egg casserole, bacon, assorted muffins, scones, croissants, bagels and fruit, had all attendees again complementing us on such a wonderful brunch.I highly recommend Palate Pleasers!

I highly recomend Palate Pleasers for any catering needs! They did an amazing job at my wedding- I can't tell you how many guests have mentioned how much they loved the food. They gave us a fully customizable menu with any idea I came up with. They were so easy to work with- from the tasting to the day itself, I never had an issue getting a hold of Amy. She answered any questions I had. She helped me with linen rentals and tables. I'm very glad I decided to go with Palate Pleasers for my wedding day!

I would review the actual food, but there never was any. So perhaps their cuisine is good, I wouldn't know. What I do know is that we hired them to cater a high end birthday party and after stringing us along for months, they ghosted us 25 days before our events. It was more than clear they didn't have the staff needed to handle our event but instead of giving us time to get a new caterer, they simply stopped returning emails and calls. I've catered many events in Annapolis and never experienced this level of unprofessionalism before. My emails and calls were all direct with Erik Daniels and mostly consisted of asking him when we could get our menu finalized and when he could do a site walk thru. After 5 emails and at least as many calls, I realized they were not going to do our event. I thank my lucky stars I was able to find someone else to do the event at the last minute.***Edited to add, I wish I'd visited Yelp before hiring them. Apparently another customer was ghosted and her event never happened and the caterer responded with "we are very busy and sometimes an event falls through the cracks". Wow. I guess mine was one that fell through the cracks. If you book them you better hope your event doesn't. Honestly that's unbelievable for them to admit, let alone do.

I cannot recommend Palate Pleasers' catering services enough. We used them to cater our small wedding and then not only provided some seriously delicious food, but they helped with setup/cleanup and kept the event running smoothly. They were so much more than just catering. Not to mention all of the staff and the owners are the best people and so nice. Amy helped us build a customized menu and setup a tasting for us too. We loved the food so much we ended up grabbing some of their Gourmet to Go a few days after the wedding. If you want food that people will rave about, or a great option for lunch or dinner, look no further!

I'm very disappointed that I have to write this review, but looking back through the other reviews, similar potential customers seemed to have the same issue and only got a response from the owner through their negative review. Like another negative review about a family not getting service for commissioning week, we are also being neglected for our USNA wedding. I have fervently tried to get in touch with Eric after having a conversation with him three weeks ago. He said he had a busy week and would get something out to me the following week, and never did. I followed up with three phone calls and emails and still, no response. I was excited about Palate Pleasers and was told by our venue that they were a high-quality option of their preferred vendors, but unfortunately, I have not gotten that experience. If I was still living in Annapolis, I would stop in to see them and then maybe I wouldn't have to write this review, but we are trying to plan an Annapolis wedding while being stationed in South Carolina. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service and communication and hope that this can be a learning opportunity for them.

Palate Pleasers catered our wedding this weekend and we could not be happier with the job they did. From our first meetings with them to the end of service they were helpful, kind, professional and just amazing. The food was spectacular, the service incredible. We truly liked all of the team that we worked with and believe that our event was much better because of their input. I totally recommend them. I know that you will be very happy with Palate Pleasers
