To give a corner grocer 3 stars means a lot. Most places like this don't care about their store front, keeping the store clean, and they price gouge you. A1 has a good selection on the beer, wine, an spirits end. Clean storefront, overall safe feeling environment. Staff is friendly, and they have the type of grocery items you would really want at a place like this. Really no reason to go further out for Boh, or a bottle of wine.

Relatively clean for a Baltimore "corner store" (which is fast disappearing in the city thanks to tightened restrictions on liquor and food sales) and gets the job done when we need milk, bread or eggs - basic staples, no more and no less.
