I was looking for a spot for a quick and cozy drink and good conversation and found that here. I felt well taken care of here, enjoyed the swanky atmosphere of the room and the comfy couches. We were only going to spend 10 minutes but I had such a good time with the bartenders. The drinks were great and the bartender whipped us up something special based on our mood. To Note* Happy hour is only available at the bar but the bartenders are good and will take care of you. The small bites menu was very good. Don't forget to tip for great service!

Came for lunch and loved it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the burger and a salad and both were equally delicious. This is a standard hotel restaurant and bar but the setup is very inviting and has great views of the harbor. I will definitely be back.
Weekend breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had in America. Kids 5 and under eat free per each adult eating. Service was great and they were patient with us and our kids.

The best part of my experience was the waiter. He was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, knew whether or not we could customize certain items, water was always filled, extra napkins, just over great. Started with crab soup and chowder. Both were tasty with just enough spice. I was able to get the chowder without bacon. The double fried wings were good but nothing to brag about. The Mumbo sauce was very basic. Just tasted like BBQ. The scallops were good, the sauce they came in was sweet, but made the dish. The rigatoni was decent, subbed the sausage for chicken. No complaints. Overall, the food was good, but not great.

With a reservation, arrived and waited 15 minutes for a host/hostess to even greet us! Our server was nice & friendly. The simple food order of burgers, crab cake sandwich and fries took too long. The food was fair, the kids liked the fries a lot though.

This place has a great aesthetic to it as well as very servicing waiter and waitresses. The brunch is definitely better than the dinner and the coffee/cafe was also great in the morning. If you are looking for a convenient dinner staying at the Marriott, then I recommend. I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place though.

I can eat their seabass every sunday. Its the chilean Seabass cooked exactly to the point. Anyone goes there can order the seabass eyes closed. You will not be disappointed!
From the time we arrived the bar tender was amazing. I think his name was Aaron. He was the only server at the time until other servers showed up. The table we wanted was dirty but he came cleaned it, got our drinks, turned on the game we wanted to see and made sure we got our food correctly and quickly. I do think I was charged for an extra drink but overall great service.

I'd probably rate Apropoe's a 3.5 or maybe a 4 depending on the night. I was there recently for a conference and stayed for 3 nights. I had 2 experiences with the hotel bar. The drinks are STRONG - which isn't a bad thing. But it wasn't until I got home and started looking through receipts that I noticed that they were giving me (and charging me for) doubles that I didn't order. They also did the same thing to a couple of my coworkers who were there the same night. The service was hit or miss for me. When I ordered a Beyond burger, the server make a comment like "do you really want that? It's not meat." Yes, that's why I ordered it! They had a vegan jackfruit BBQ sandwich on the menu, but we were told that it would take too long to make and our server convinced my coworker to order something else. There was also a vegan avocado fettuccini that I didn't get to try but that looked good. The ambiance of the bar is really nice - sort of dark with a fireplace, lots of TVs but not in an intrusive way, couches and comfy chairs.

We enjoyed our dinner at Apropoe's. The atmosphere was just right for a gathering of writers, and the servers were pleasant and courteous. Service at dinner was a little slow, but we very much appreciated being allowed the use of the large private dining room. The Poets Corner is a really nice place for writers to gather.
