Very unkept and dirty place… we sat by the door where it smelled like a dirty river and a large lit door city rat trap was visible… never

Absolutely a 5 star review. I went with one of my best friends and the food was fantastic and the staff was amazing. So amazing that somehow I did not pay the tab accidentally and had no idea until afterwards but was able to rectify it asap without shame at all . When I say this restaurant and staff is gracious- it is no exaggeration. I was able to pay over the phone and every single person was very kind despite my offense. It is one thing to be a great server or bartender and another to be kind in this situation. Any issue with paying affects the business and the staff directly and immediately. Huge kudos to them for being so gracious! The service level at cosima is top notch. We had a very amazing mixologist that attended to us and made amazing cocktails and drinks for us while we gabbed away. 10000% would go again.

Service was excellent. I recommend the meatballs or pizza. The other items on the menu during restaurant week I'd rate a 2 at best.

Cosima used to be amazing, I have lived here for 10 years. It’s just kinda rundown…the quality is meh, the service is meh. FYI it’s $250 for a couple.

Most exceptional food I've had in Baltimore. The bartenders are talented and extremely knowledgeable. Service was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elevated and very "cool". Food was plated beautifully and had rich, developed flavors. The pasta was obviously handmade and cooked perfectly. This was the perfect place for a fancy birthday dinner.

We have gone many times to Cosima over the years and it never disappoints. We usually enjoy the outdoor dining more, but our indoor experience this evening was great..Four of us shared two appetizers (one with shrimp and the other with meatballs). We then ordered two branzinos fish that we shared. It was delicious. We ended our meal with chocolate cake and ice cream..This is a first class restaurant. I am giving it a 4 rather than a 5 that it fully deserves because they charged us $4.00 for a basket of tolls. I find this unacceptable.

Our favorite place to dine in Baltimore! They have a lot of gluten free options, including bread, pasta and flatbread/pizzas! Everything is always fresh and amazing when we have come here! The staff is also great, super friendly and accommodating! The vibes are just right for a date night, or dinner with coworkers! The food is super fresh and overall delicious! We haven’t had a meal we disliked from here. We highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!
This was the first date night with my wife in months since our little one came along. Cosima was the perfect choice. Our server, Geremia, was warm and friendly. We ordered the grilled octopus appetizer, the butternut squash bucatini, and the pork shank. My wife had a glass of wine and I had the arancina cocktail. Everything we ordered was perfect and delicious. It's been a long time since I felt so full, relaxed, and content at a restaurant.Parking: Free valet parking is available.
Food was exceptional in taste and unusual ingredients/combos.e g. Bucatini and included sage, butternut squash puree, crispy speck. Orecchiette had porcini cream sauce and arugula. Really enjoyed it. Our server was attentive and helpful. The service rating was more about a) granted there were 10 of us, but I thought it took a long time to get our drinks and food, b) after the first round of bread rolls, subsequent rolls are $1 each, c) they couldn't split the check for the group the way we wanted, d) the portion size seemed small for the price ($34 for at most 2 cups of bucatini without the speck and cheese). Charming restaurant though, tucked away off a rustic courtyard. Free valet parking. We will probably return but not anytime soon.

Lovely location, food was not impressive in taste or presentation or what you'd expect from that level of restaurant. Meh. Service was just ok. Valet service is a perk. We went for a large dinner, for a special occasion and people were disappointed. Bummer, wouldn't return.

Wanted to really like this place. It has alot going for it. Setting, service, cleanliness were all great. Unfortunately the food did not match all the good things going for it. To begin, the food is overpriced so by the prices I was expecting an amazing meal. Everything was bland and underwhelming. The food is not of very high quality either. Pasta is not homemade or at least I hope not. The chef brought out the lobster plate telling us that, "usually there is a lobster tail on the plate but tonight it was just lobster meat." But yet still charged us lobster tail prices. I'm convinced the lobster was frozen because it was very rubbery. What an absolute shame. In all, I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's not worth the money.

This place is a Gem ? an old Mill turned into a gorgeous and upscale restaurant. Great service and tasty Italian dishes cooked to perfection. Great spot for dates. The Branzino, steak and octopus are cooked on charcoal grill outside.
