I will truly miss this Gem of a Family owned Bakery. I don't know where I will ever get delicious bake goods.. My heart is heavy that they are closing.

Best donuts in Baltimore. The cake donuts are my favorite and the price is excellent. Pizza buns are also delicious. Warm and friendly customer service.

The service was outstanding, probably one of the best I experienced. The donuts were yummy and fresh. The dough especially was amazing. The jelly was ok, bit too much. We are not from the area, but will definitely come back whenever we are close by. Thank you.

Been living in Baltimore for a little over a year now (2 years in DC prior via austin, Tx) and ever since I'd moved to the region I've been in search of an authentic feeling/tasting local doughnut shop. There was a place in Austin I loved going to called Mrs. Johnson's Bakery. I'd been trying to find a comparable shop for some time, and I feel like I've finally found it. I got two of their Honey Dip doughnuts. The dough was fluffy and tasty. The glaze was perfectly flakey. This will be my go to doughnut spot for as long as I live here.

Whenever I visit Baltimore, Hoehn's Bakery is a MUST stop. And why is that? Simply because they have the best donuts in all of B'more. Furthermore, if it can be believed in this day and age, all donuts are the unheard of price of between $1 and $1.50...and that's not a typo!!! From Tuesdays-Saturdays (since they're closed the rest of the days of the week), there is a steady stream of cars and people coming in and out of Hoehn's. This tiny shop located in the rapidly gentrifying neighborhood of Highland town, has been serving up not just donuts, but freshly baked breads, fruit turnovers, and some of the best cheesecakes in all of Charm City since 1927 - how's that for longevity??? I usually try and get here between 9:30am-10:00am, since after 12pm things start to sell out. I'll get a dozen donuts to include my favorites such as: * Boston Cream -literally filled to the seams with smooth velvety vanilla flavored cream. Definitely make sure you take a few napkins since one bite and the filling will ooze out! * regular and chocolate cake - the texture is both crispy and soft. And unlike at some places, this is a DENSE yet still moist donut. * Lemon filled - one of my favorite donuts of all time and the has a great but not overpowering citrus punch. * Marshmallow - the B'More locals know about this specialty flavor. Taste like a marshmallow without being overly sweet. You can't go wrong with any of the donut flavors, and these tasty delights are better than anything you'd find at Dunkin or any grocery store. Honestly, I've sampled almost everything to the seasonal apple cider donuts, loaves of bread, and cheesecakes and they're all fantastic. For a real taste of Baltimore history, you gotta stop in at Hoehn's and don't forget to take a dozen donuts with you for the next day.

Best donuts in the world! Nothing beats a chocolate old fashioned (except may a white powdered). The cakes can’t be beat, and I’ll always get a pizza bun in they have them.

Old school Baltimore bakery that I can’t get enough of. Everything is baked fresh daily and the donuts are delicious. I always leave with a honey dipped and marshmallow filled, but the Bismarck is great too. Had a slice of peach cake today and I’m in heaven. The slab cakes might be my new favorite thing.

To date, the best donuts I've had in Baltimore. Everything is simple, fresh, and just ridiculously good. The glazed, jelly, and honey dip twist donuts and, of course, the hot cross buns are my personal favorites!

I tried their strawberry donuts at work and fell in love, so I went to pick some up on a Wednesday. Apparently they only have the strawberry donuts on a particular day (along with only having bread a particular day?) every week. I therefore waited until Saturday when they would supposedly have the donuts, and arrived 10 minutes before closing only to find out they were already closed? I double checked their hours and sure enough they closed early Friday r no apparent reason. If you want convenience go anywhere else

Not much to say about this place other than that it is amazing! Fresh baked goods, tons of variety, and insanely cheap ($1 each no tax!!!) What more can a girl ask for? My personal favs are the banana walnut donut and the coconut cinnamon roll, but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Excellent choice of pastries altogether! I used to live in Highlandtown, and I discovered how authentic they are compared to any store bought pastries,
