“Perfect location for some comfort ramen!! Located literally right next to John’s Hopkins University, Kajiken is ideal for students, visitors, locals who are craving a savory, hot meal. The noodles are made in house and the veggies taste so fresh!! The broth was heart warming and the ambience isn’t loud and distracting, but not library quiet so having a meal with friends would be perfect!“
“Food:The sushi here is so good. It's some of the best I've had since moving to Baltimore. My favorite (so far) is the R (Roll) Lewis. The unagi and soft shell crab are also wonderful.Service:The server was attentive, never letting our water run out. Our food came out quickly, and the extra roll we ordered before we left arrived fast and packaged well.Atmosphere:We didn't get to see the whole restaurant, as we sat near the entrance. The chair felt a bit uncomfortable. But other than that, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.“
“From a takeout perspective, ordered the 20 piece sushi dinner but I think there was a mix up and we got 20 pieces of sashimi instead. Didn't realize until we got home. Sashimi was good but the sushi was a win. When dining, it's a casual small restaurant with a casual ambiance. Appears often busy and well located. The miso and clear soup are fresh and hot. Would recommend the sunset sushi roll. Vegetarian options were less thrilling.“
“By far the best food and service you will get dining at BWI. The rolls are all freshly made and better quality than you will get at most sushi restaurants. The servers are attentive and you can actually get service quickly, unlike most airport restaurants. A variety of high quality sake options, as well as Japanese beers.“
“I had a random craving for sushi and my normal go to carry out place had stopped taking orders for the night, so I decided to order from Arigato. I'm so glad I did! The pearl river roll here is my favorite to date I've had from any sushi restaurant. The side order of fried rice was so huge I ate leftovers for two days. The spicy mayo actually has quite a kick to it and is so much better than the run of the mill sauce served at other places. Absolutely delicious!“
“It's been a long time since I've been to Aloha Sushi in Baltimore, since before the pandemic. decided to try them for lunch and the experience was good! apparently the sushi roller, Rajesh, is back, after they changed management. I had the lunch special for the Salmon roll, the tuna role and the Boston roll! it was good and hit the spot. definitely coming back for a date, Mount Vernon is one of my favorite spots.“
“Our daughter loves sushi and this is her absolute favorite sushi restaurant. We’ve been here a number of times and the staff is always amazing, as is the food. Today was my daughter’s 5th birthday and when we asked her where she wanted to go for dinner, she told us Mizu Sushi. I’m pretty sure she’d make us take her there every day for their Philly roll and miso soup if she could. Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. Just wonderful. (Also, my favorite is their Maryland roll. It’s soooooo good!)“
“I got door dash. It was sooo yummy. I got the beef and shrimp with noodles rice and veggies. It's worth the upcharge, at least to me. Quite large portion. Also, I got some cooked rolls. I enjoyed it all. Enough to order the same exact thing a second time. It was more than enough for 2. Probably 3 easy! ** A trick I figured out for myself. Up to you, of course! I did get the dash pass for 9.99. It saved me more than the price I would have paid. I canceled afterwards but still got the perks for a month, which saved me even more in the long run.** The 3 bucks off was a discount from them, from their point system. DOORDASH did get me on the tip part. I wanted to give them $10. Please always tip at least 18%. As a server, we count on that money. Very very much. Enjoy!!“
“I've been here twice now and will be back because of the affordable quality nigiri and prime location by the water. The restaurant itself has a cozy vibe, not too fancy. That's fine-- I'm all about food over ambiance if given the choice between the other. I am a sushi enthusiast (gimme the omakases!) and was hankering for some fresh wasabi, but I guess they don't offer that here. The service is alright. The first time around, I sat on the mats with a friend (pretty neat that they offer that, I've only seen it in a few izakaya style restaurants). The waitress was nice but felt like the timing was off for when we wanted certain things (ordering, receiving food, receiving the bill). The second time around, I sat at the sushi bar and was able to be helped more promptly and in a pattern that made more sense to me. The sushi chefs were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.As far as food goes, the aburi toro is phenomenal! 3 large chunks of flame-seared toro marinated in a citrusy umami sauce for $20.The rockfish is topped with a spicy orange garnish that adds a great little kick. The salmon belly is quality. You can tell by how fresh, vibrant, and near-translucent they look. It's also my favorite nigiri! The tuna belly was good, not as marbled as I'd like, but still good. Thick, juicy portions.I'd pass on the yellowtail belly, it wasn't quite as melty-in-your-mouth as the tuna belly and salmon belly. Can you tell I love the bellies? Try them out for yourself“
“Went for the omakase on a Thursday lunch.Clean, firm, deeply-colored fish. Rice was well-seasoned. The chef added subtle but flavorful twists or garnishes to each nigiri. Finished us off with two delicious maki made from fresh scraps of tuna and salmon. The place was empty during our whole visit, which was surprising given how much we enjoyed the meal. Notably, the portions were quite large. Don’t underestimate this one - you will be full after!“
“Great sushi and great Chinese also at reasonable prices! I've been getting sushi at Sakura for a while but tonight we also got General Tso's and it was really good and the portion was huge! I dont think Sakura gets the street cred in Annapolis that it deserves- Its a cozy spot with great food and great views of downtown! Now I can't wait for our leftovers tomorrow!“
“this is one of my favorite spots in baltimore for good sushi- great service, reasonable prices, and overall great food. its never super loud or busy inside, which is nice to have a good relaxing meals. it's a staple in our lunch rotation.“
“My family sometimes in the past had gotten carry out from here before we dined in. Since the tables are all on the second floor at the top of some steep stairs accessibility probably isn't the best. There is a large menu, with plenty of options. I ordered the beef teriyaki lunch which came with soup, salad, and rice, I really enjoyed it. I also ordered a marble soda which was pretty tasty, although it took a few seconds for me to open since it's been so long since I had one. In order to open a marble soda you need to take off the plastic film, remove the outer cap, punch out the opener from the middle of the removed cap, and then you can use the opener to dislodge the marble so that you can have a drink.“
“We love Azumi ambiance is great it on the waterfront in Baltimore. The A5 Wagu melts in your mouth they offer it by the ounce. But it's enough for 4 people we ordered 4 ounces. The yellowtail jalapeño sushi is another favorite. The lychee cocktail is pricy and did not taste like it really had alcohol which was very disappointing. Overall it's a fun place with friends and we shared all the plates along with the fried rice which is delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items. I gave it 4 stars because of the cocktails.“
“I enjoyed everything about this place. Get there and there were no other customers in the restaurant, so it was very quiet. Had a few rolls and an order of the shrimp and vegetable tempura. The eel rolls never disappoint but the tempura was more veg than shrimp. Nothing tasted past it's prime and price was not bad either. Overall food was decent but I really like the environment. Sat by the window and wasn't pressured to leave after eating must have spent two hours just chatting away before realizing still hadn't gotten the check.“
“Matsuri Japanese Restaurant is a must-visit for delicious food and a great vibe. The Matsuri Special Roll is a standout--so flavorful! The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a top spot for a tasty meal. Can't wait to go back for more! Thanks, Matsuri, for the awesome dining experience!“
“If you're looking for sushi or sashimi, you'll find the best is here , i just love it. And the staff/management is very nice an friendly. I have enjoyed most of the menu and have never had a complaint , very good food and fairly priced.“
“This was a quick stop before heading to a comedy show and it was a 10/10 for me. The restaurant was clean with fast service. I ordered the Bento box with salmon and shrimp which also came with mini egg rolls and sushi. My husband ordered the shrimp and steak with Lo mein. Everything was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was a huge plus for me however, the salmon was not a fresh caught as it tasted more like a bag of store brought salmon instead but, all in all everything was delicious and I will definitely return.“
“This was my first "eat-in" experience with Quickway. I have previously ordered for delivery that came from a different location. My kiddo and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant had only been open for about an hour. The decor is lacking here, it is very underwhelming and the booths seem that they might have been built in a high school shop class. The trash cans are out and exposed and the windows and doors were filthy. The service was pretty good and very very quick. The prices are decent and the servings are humongous. My kiddo just ate sushi, and the tuna rolls were only $6, she thought they were great. I ordered a chicken bento box that was really surprising in its size and variety. Chicken, noodles, vegetables, sushi, dumplings and spring rolls all for about $11. The food tasted really good.I guess I can take the shoddy/lacking decor for some really good and well priced food.Just clean the windows, please.“
“This restaurant offers a variety of options that cater to most taste buds. The food is reasonably priced and service is good. I came here to celebrate a family member’s birthday and the service was excellent. Our server, Brenden, made some great recommendations and ensured our food came out on time. We ordered the dumplings, chicken steam bun, cloud shrimp and fried chicken (Karaage) as appetizers. All were very great. We also ordered the Taipei Curry Chicken ramen, Brontosaurus bowl, Brussels & Squash, shrimp and pork belly steam buns as our entrees; all were filling and delicious. I think the curry chicken ramen could use more depth flavors; I added chili oil and mushrooms which were good additions. I also wish the chicken in the ramen was different than the chicken thighs offered as an appetizer. It made me feel like I was eating the same protein for my appetizer and entree. They have a nice drink menu; we all ordered the Last Samurai; which was tasty. I wish it came in a larger glass.I was disappointed they ran out of the miso cooking dessert but I’m looking forward to returning to try it. All in all; I would return. It’s a nice and cozy spot. They have an area where you can sit and watch the kitchen make the food as you dine.Parking: Parking can be scarce during busy times but there is street parking“
