Waited an eternity for someone to even take our orders. Told the waitress we were only interested in ordering food if it would arrive fast and she assured us that the options we wanted could be ready in 15 min since the restaurant was almost empty. It took 35 min. Food was damn good, though, so credit where credit is due.

You walk in to a high-end lounge feel but also the authentic Soul of the city and the genuine OG Miss Carter style still here. A big smile from TIA opens the whole experience up while she brings you some water and the menus. I went for watermelon lemonade which is amazing for me. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Alfredo pasta and even met the Chef AJ, who made me feel like my order was a special one from the get. Music and low light ambiance relaxes you and the strong soulfood taste of the food takes you to a higher place. This is the place to be. Thanks Tia and AJ dor a great time!! Many visits to come!!

Waited inside 3 hours for my food. Visited from out of state. Good thing I had company and just hung out and enjoyed a drink. But a 3 hour wait, and it wasn't even packed..it was only chicken wings I ordered. It's best you probably pick up and take food to go because everyone else was served quicker.I would eat from there again, but only if ordering take out.. just because the only negative was the 3 hour wait and the staff were not the most welcoming or polite at first.

Ordered my food for pick up through Uber Eats. I arrived 15 minutes after I received a notification saying my order was ready. Upon arrival, I was not acknowledged by multiple employees for ~3+ minutes. Once I was finally able to speak to someone, I was told my order wasn’t ready yet even though Uber Eats said the restaurant confirmed the order was ready (seems like they click the order ready button to stay in good standing with delivery companies). After waiting 20 minutes, I overheard the employees discuss that they needed to communicate better and that my order hadn’t even been started. However, what was communicated to me vaguely was that my order was not ready and that I would have to wait another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I actually ended up waiting about an additional hour total (from the time Uber Eats confirmed my order was ready for pick up). No one apologized for the poor service or wait time. Overall, this experience was completely unprofessional and a waste of time.

Chef AJ ??? did the dayum thang!(Garlic Parm wings, Lump crab cake, collards and Potatoe salad)Servive was nothing short of amazing ?‼️ Waiter Nick was well versed on what was good, what sells, what days and nights are most popular...he made Sistah proud!Atmosphere...very nice staff buuuttt ok so I'm thinking ? it could use a little more work. For instance...Good music but the decor is dated and dusty. From the outside if you've never been...you'd miss it. Outside should pop especially since the block has no other attractions and mostly boarded and vacant.Overall experience...ten out of ten...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! ????????????????
