Best spot in fells point for casual sushi! Lovely service and tasty sushi, good for groups or just sitting at the bar, and some nice outdoor seating when the weather is good!

We received multiple luke warm appetizers today as if they were microwaved rather than cooked. Huge disappointment! The waitress laughed when we told her, that being said, we will forget this place and check out Bruce Sushi Ya which has not failed us and is a much better option in Fells Point.

I have a sesame allergy. Before ordering, I told the waitress I am allergic to sesame. Ordered a $65 sushi boat and the rolls had sesame on them. Sent the rolls back to kitchen. The waitress brought out 2 rolls without sesame on the outside. Before I was about to start eating those rolls, the waitress informed me the spicy tuna has sesame oil in it. Sesame oil will put me in the hospital and the other roll had the tuna filling on it which indicates cross contamination. The waitress avoided the table until my partner finished the food I couldn’t eat. No apologies were given.I used to like this restaurant a lot but the carelessness of the chef and waitress is not worth the thousands of dollars the emergency room visit could cost me.

Best sushi in Baltimore! Everything on their menu is amazing and the customer service is phenomenal!

I've been here twice now and will be back because of the affordable quality nigiri and prime location by the water. The restaurant itself has a cozy vibe, not too fancy. That's fine-- I'm all about food over ambiance if given the choice between the other. I am a sushi enthusiast (gimme the omakases!) and was hankering for some fresh wasabi, but I guess they don't offer that here. The service is alright. The first time around, I sat on the mats with a friend (pretty neat that they offer that, I've only seen it in a few izakaya style restaurants). The waitress was nice but felt like the timing was off for when we wanted certain things (ordering, receiving food, receiving the bill). The second time around, I sat at the sushi bar and was able to be helped more promptly and in a pattern that made more sense to me. The sushi chefs were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.As far as food goes, the aburi toro is phenomenal! 3 large chunks of flame-seared toro marinated in a citrusy umami sauce for $20.The rockfish is topped with a spicy orange garnish that adds a great little kick. The salmon belly is quality. You can tell by how fresh, vibrant, and near-translucent they look. It's also my favorite nigiri! The tuna belly was good, not as marbled as I'd like, but still good. Thick, juicy portions.I'd pass on the yellowtail belly, it wasn't quite as melty-in-your-mouth as the tuna belly and salmon belly. Can you tell I love the bellies? Try them out for yourself

Be warned: they put wasabi under the fish in all of the nigiri. It’s the true Japanese way after all, but I just wasn’t expecting it. The location is amazing right on the water, and they even have tables where you take off your shoes and your feet go into a large hole under the table. Cute inside for sure. They also have a lot of veggie rolls too!

As a sushi connoisseur:)…. This place delivered an “A” plus food and service expe. all of the sashimi was really fresh, and they accommodated all of our unusual requests without question. The wine is good and food is even better. And the price is also very reasonable!

Ordered a boat and left to our own devices for about 45 minutes. When we asked about the order, we were told it would be another 20 minutes.Said no thanks and bounced.
