I've been meaning to try them out and since I was right up the street, I figured today was the day. They weren't busy when I got there and the people behind the counter were helpful explaining the different things they had available today. I'd heard about the pollo guisado (stew chicken) being good so that's what I ordered with plantains and rice & peas. Everything was delicious and I enjoyed the spices. I'll definitely be back to try something else on the menu.
Friendly service. Both the young lady and man were welcome to answer questions. I enjoyed the food. The beef platter was tender and it was flavorful food (Pictured) it comes with rice and beans and 2 sides I got the cabbage and plantains. I do wish that with the amount of rice given, there was a little more meat. Anyways. I also got the stewed chicken which was also good. (Not shown) Overall the food was good.
