Our kind of bar! A fairly young crowd here (late 20s mostly), but by no means a college-dominated joint or a corporate cocktail lounge. I'd describe Rye like an updated traditional bar. The music choice was excellent, and we enjoyed the live music by the band Almost Naked. We had a cocktail and a beer, and I have no doubts that whiskey aficionados would be at home here.
Rye is always a gem for cocktails. Greattttttt place for cocktails! The bartenders make magic. Environment is your typical bar setting, with that said, it is not an ideal place to have quiet conversations.

We stopped by for drinks, the bouncer Kevin is very nice and personable. When we entered there was a DJ. The bar area is quite small but there is a larger area in the back. The drinks are reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. It is quite dark and hard to see the menus or get the servers/bartenders attention. It was also quite loud for it being a sit down bar. It was tough to hear my friends sitting next to me.
