We stopped by for drinks, the bouncer Kevin is very nice and personable. When we entered there was a DJ. The bar area is quite small but there is a larger area in the back. The drinks are reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. It is quite dark and hard to see the menus or get the servers/bartenders attention. It was also quite loud for it being a sit down bar. It was tough to hear my friends sitting next to me.

Our kind of bar! A fairly young crowd here (late 20s mostly), but by no means a college-dominated joint or a corporate cocktail lounge. I'd describe Rye like an updated traditional bar. The music choice was excellent, and we enjoyed the live music by the band Almost Naked. We had a cocktail and a beer, and I have no doubts that whiskey aficionados would be at home here.

From the service to the drinks just one word Awesome. My wife and I had a great time. The owner was great and was very accommodating. The price for the drinks were very reasonable. The only thing I would say is to wear gloves when making the handcrafted

Came to Rye for some drinks on a Saturday night with friends and have got to say the drinks are pretty good and not too pricey. The DJ was playing great music, but the speakers could be a bit loud sometimes. The bartenders were also fast with making your drinks!
Really delicious and original cocktails. Friendly service but super loud and dark inside. The bar area is tight but beyond it there's a couple of secluded tables that a groups of 4 or 6+ could sit around.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. It's the only place in Baltimore I can ALWAYS enjoy a good cocktail. This place is usually packed so service can be a tad slow, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Tabled areas are available but fill up fast but there's nothing quite like sitting at the bar and watching the bartenders be mad lads. Old fashioned and Pimm's cup are my go to drinks!
