A great little sushi spot. Slightly above your usual sushi prices, but the sashimi is high quality! Definitely worth it for a full meal or a quick

Went for the omakase on a Thursday lunch.Clean, firm, deeply-colored fish. Rice was well-seasoned. The chef added subtle but flavorful twists or garnishes to each nigiri. Finished us off with two delicious maki made from fresh scraps of tuna and salmon. The place was empty during our whole visit, which was surprising given how much we enjoyed the meal. Notably, the portions were quite large. Don’t underestimate this one - you will be full after!

Sizka offers a solid dining experience. The sushi is fresh and well-prepared, with a decent variety on the menu. The ambiance is pleasant, providing a comfortable setting for a casual meal. While not groundbreaking, Sizka delivers reliable sushi without breaking the bank. It's a go-to spot for those looking for a straightforward and satisfying sushi experience in Baltimore.

Had a poor experience at Sizka. The sushi we received was partially frozen and the miso soup was not fresh. Very disappointed in the quality of the food.

Awful presentation, food, service, and atmosphere upon picking up my food. I asked for extra sauce on the side on the phone and when it wasn’t in the bag, I asked again and then when they tried to give it to me they wanted to charge $.50 on my card. Usually it wouldn’t bother me but it seemed like the cooks in the kitchen were extremely mad about it when the Togo specialist went back to ask for it. So I said I’m good and left. To be clear, the Togo specialist is not the issue here, it seems the ownership/chefs are.Now upon eating my meal, the chicken is the driest chicken I’ve ever eaten I could choke on it. For $20 for a teriyaki chicken meal you’d think you’d be getting a lot of food and good food which neither is the case. I will not be returning and will be sure to share the experience I’ve had. Anyone know of an actual good teriyaki place in Canton? Because this is not it!

I wanted to like it but there were just too many misses here. Fatty tuna was 5/5 delicious so get that if you decide to order here. Ribeye bulgogi was just OK and some of the other sushi the texture of the fish was extremely chewy - not sure what was going on. Still smelled fresh but I ended up not eating half my meal. Walking into this place you get a bit of mall feeling - I would choose takeout over dine in.

3 stars for ambiance & service, but 4 stars for food quality for value! We tried Sizka's omakase menu and it was such a steal for $80. Please keep in mind this review is compared to other omakase places that are typically ($100+ pp). We got a variety of fish as part of the omakase menu which included blue fin tuna, sweet shrimp, o-toro and toro handroll. I would not say it was the best sushi / omakase I've ever had, but for $80 - the selection & quality was VERY nice. We went for a special occasion but tbh the ambiance is more of a local neighborhood sushi place rather than a fancy omakase place. Maybe that's how they keep their prices low! You don't need to dress up or anything as folks typically were wearing casual clothes. One final note is they have specific times for omakase dining (you get to dine at the sushi bar) but if you're like us and eat pretty slow, you may be asked to move to a standard table after ~ 2 hours so they can accommodate the next round of folks who signed up for the experience (which is totally reasonable). If we want decent sushi for a reasonable price, we'll definitely be coming back to Sizka! Maybe we'll order a la carte vs. omakase next time since we know which sushi we like :)
