Been on a big band sound kick and was craving a burger so stopped at Speakeasy as it seemed appropriate after passing it on dog walks for the longest time(and admiring the outer decor each time). Though I was a bit disappointed the inside wasn't on-theme(Sublime on the radio? Really? I never tried this place in the past because I assumed it was Cajun/New Orleans style quizine, and as someone who doesn't eat pork or shellfish, there's not much I can eat at those restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised that Speakeasy actually has a great menu with pasta, burgers, and more! The hospitality was amazing and it literally felt like eating at a friend's house. The talented bar staff is very friendly and attentive. Even though it was our first time there, we were treated like regulars by Davis and Anna. My husband and I really enjoyed our tasty cocktails and we are eager to try the food on our next visit. We will definitely be returning to this fantastic place.
