Brownie sunday was the "proverbial cherry on top" at an ice cream date with my daughter. Pricey, but what isn't these days.

Hours are incorrectly listed. Google maps says open until 11 so we went at 9:30. The door said they closed at 9 but it was unlocked so we went in but we're told they were closed.

Just so so. But they do make the ice cream there.

We had our sons 6th birthday party their this past weekend. What a fantastic place to have a party. The staff was very helpful in setting up the event. They were very patient with us despite us being very late in responding to emails. The day of the party was great. They had a long table in the back with bleachers set aside and a side table for food. We were able to arrive 30 minutes before the party to decorate. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The kids loved the party. They did a scavenger hunt around the place to get little trinkets for goodie bags. Then they did a craft where they made ice cream cone pictures. Finally was the tour. As others have said, walking through the freezer was the highlight of the tour. Then it was ice cream time. Everyone got their own choice of flavor. And they brought all the bowls out to us, which was completely unexpected!Parking at the place is tough as there is a small parking lot, and there are a bunch of popular businesses at the Union Collective. My only negative is they didn't have the flavor Ice Cream Sando. But I'll let them pass on that one.

This is my favorite Charmery location because of the decorations (wrestlers and old stuff baby) and the fact that you can sort of see all that goes into making their ice cream. My same appreciations and concerns exist for here as the other locations. My family has never had problems finding a flavor they like. The waffle cones are fresh, the rotating flavors are adventurous, samples are available and you can pick up pints to go. They have a rewards program you can join and prices are comparable to other small batch ice cream places. Like the Towson location, this one has ample seating available and is very spacious. No matter how long the line, I don't feel like I am up in anyone's business. My concerns are the vegan options. While their vegan ice cream is really good, I find that it lacks the inventiveness of their normal flavors. They also have so few options. There is usually a plain chocolate version (or chocolate chip or cookies and cream) and a fruity sorbet and, well, that's about it. In summary: decor is good, spacious place with inventive (or even not inventive) handcrafted ice cream. Good vegan ice cream in typical flavors, though not many options. If you want vegan options and unique vegan flavors, there are better places to check out in the area.

I've been to the other Charmery location many many times. This place has all the same flavors and the same screen menus and everything but they have a lot more seating space and I think this would be a great place to take kids. The ice cream is good but pretty expensive. A waffle cone with ice cream is like over $10 so be aware. Even the kiddie scoop in a cup is pricey. Is it worth it? I guess if you can afford it.

The Charmery holds a special place in our hearts! After a long hiatus due to unforeseen circumstances, we returned for our beloved "last ice cream before school" tradition. The experience was flawless - the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Although the seating area was cozy, we could have spaced out the tables a tad more. But hey, that didn't stop us from savoring the delectable treats.

This was my first time at The Charmery Ice Cream Factory! They serve ice cream on a cone or a cup, brownie sundaes, cold brew shakes, root beer floats and shakes, chocolate soda, hand crafted marshmallows, and sorbet smoothies. They currently have 16 flavors to pick from, two of which are vegan. I knew that Saturday Morning Cartoons (Frosted Flakes based with Lucky Charms marshmallows) would be too sweet for me. I had a hard time deciding between Old Bay Caramel and Mint Mountain (mint chip with Andes Mint) Ice Cream. Since we were about to go for a hike through Patapsco State Park, I decided to get the latter. If you like mint, I highly recommend this flavor!

Was upset that they do not make a sugar free ice cream for us diabetics. Had to watch everyone eat. It looks good

Went to this location before they opened at 2pm and waited outside. They kept the doors locked for 10 minutes past the time that they were supposed to open. When we went in I ordered a sundae. After I ordered and paid I was informed that the hot fudge wasn't hot yet so it couldn't be put on my sundae and i was asked if i wanted another topping. What is a sundae without hot fudge?! I would have just asked for the scoop of ice cream but I had already paid. They just decided to give me the whipped cream and cherry on my ice cream and didn't offer to refund me any of the amount paid. Love their ice cream but I was disappointed in the service.

Might just be the best ice cream I have ever had. I wish you were in Atlanta. Clean and fast service too! The ice cream was so amazing I can't stop thinking about it!

Ice cream, check. Delicious, check. Affordable, check. What more can you want? It was simply yummy ice cream with really interesting flavor choices. Saffron olive oil? Chocolate with French fries? So bold and daring. I got two scoops. One was chocolate mud and the other was salty caramel. Creamy and full of flavor. If your craving ice cream this is the place to go.
