Historical bar more than 200 years old. One of the oldest continuously running saloon. Also has literary connections as it is famous as Poe's Last stop. Apparently this this place was frequented/liked by Edgar Allen Poe. There is no food I believe. But draft beers are great.

2 Natty Boh drafts that are not even a full pint cost $18.14. No thanks!

First time visiting with friends and was a great experience. Lots of western decor and embraces the Texas lifestyle while in Baltimore. Drinks were reasonably priced and does get packed on weekdays/weekends. Lots of great local beers on tap to meet any palette. Highly recommend visiting and grab a souvenir.

Our drinks were on point. The live band was awesome. The bathroom attendant is a nice touch. Will visit

You should probably stop in here when in Baltimore/Fells Point. Fun upbeat atmosphere. Bartenders are friendly. The stools at the bar are saddles. Be careful getting on and off them - we saw someone tip over - perhaps should have done side saddle. There were two bars. We didn’t eat anything. I’m not even sure they have food. There was live music which was nice. Many beer and cocktail options. According to the internet this was the last place Edgar Allen Poe was seen alive.

The bouncer was incredibly disrespectful and aggressive. He threatened me and my female friends to the point of it almost being violent. I willNever and I mean NEVER come back here. And there is a lick of racism

The oldest continuously operated saloon in America and the last place Edgar Allan Poe was seen at before his sudden death. Fun vibes and a great place to go with your friends to hear live music. The bartenders were very nice and the drinks were pretty good and very fairly priced. It is definitely always crowded but there is usually never a line to get in.

I stopped in yesterday, Feb 18, 2024.I enjoyed the live music and the saloon themed aesthetic.I ordered a Blackberry Gin cocktail and my husband ordered a Sagamore Whiskey Sour cocktail. That is all we ordered. Although the cocktails were good, I was shocked to see the bill come out to about $32 as there is no pricing transparency on their menu. There was a servicing fee added as well as extra charges for using card for payment. The establishment offsets their cost of transaction fees for card use on its patrons. Just for a comparison, I bought 6 drinks (4 beers and 2 shots of tequila at Kooper's Tavern up the street for roughly the same price). Of the 3 establishments I patroned at, this was the only one with a card use penalty. I would not recommend spending here as your purchasing power is low here. Your money will go further in many other establishments nearby.

I’m torn here. The atmosphere is pretty fun. Still…it’s a dive bar. $8 for a Miller lite??? $22 for a Long Island? No wonder Edgar died after coming here. Best to stick to places around here that are worth the money and don’t rip you
