Good pub/restaurant ambiance. Nice spacing of seats with lots of heating making it very cozy! Very service and hospitality. The waitress, Samantha, is super helpful and nice! The hot drink selection in the winter is bomb and warms the body & soul!

This spot has first-rate service and delicious menu. My favourite place in town. The food served rapidly and the prices were reasonable. I recommend this place.

went to james joyce in october, love it, food was awesome, as well as the staff , the owner, great location, despite the pandemic, we felt very comfortable, still adhering to the mask law, except for eating, nothing better than being among the Irish..................

Tonight an act of racism has left me feeling disgusted, belittled, and above all humiliated. My friends and I were refused service at a restaurant without any reason. The manager, JOHN stood at the entrance of the door and would not let us enter or seat us. In the moment, I did not know what to do or how to react. I have never experienced anything like this before. When we question his reasoning he could not give a legitimate one. I immediately internalized whether or not it

Amazing atmosphere. Excellent customer service. Owner even stopped by and told a few stories about the area. Ordered a Ruben Sandwich, one of the best I've had with thick slices of meat. I will be coming back.

I understand, times are strange. That being said, waiting 40 minutes for some deep fried fish and fries seems excessive. And would not have merited a one star review if I didn't have to argue with rude staff on the way out as well, complete with being shown a food ticket entered almost 20 minutes late as proof. There are a number of fine restaurants nearby, do yourself a favor and go to one of those.

I sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is flavorable and the team is generous and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a gorgeous time. warmly recommended.

Second time I've been here. Everyone is just so nice. Employees are following the covid rules to a T. For the most part everyone enjoyed their food. I got the Guinness stew. The broth was savory and the mashed potatoes awesome. Unfortunately the celery was cut into very large portions and still very crunchy. Then there was the meat. Very chewie, like it had not been cooked enough. Thankfully I had ordered the potato soup which was very good. When they took my plate they didn't acknowledge that my entree was still almost completely there and that I did not want to have it boxed togo. Ended up ordering food later from grubhub. I will be back, just not for the stew sadly.

Visited the one in Athens, Greece, Years ago. Never forgot them. Best fish & chips I've ever eaten, before or since. The tartar sauce I could have drank. Would kill for their recipe. Went back a total of three times.
