This is my neighborhood bar. The owner is really friendly and personable. It’s relatively new and he is making a lot of improvements. I see a lot of my friends from the neighborhood here and he has games and a large selection of alcohol even tho there’s no liquor. Once they have food it’ll be a go to spot for me. Less busy than some of the other bars down the street, especially on game days. Highly recommend. Right down the street from the Babe Ruth museum!
I have a great time every time I go to The Starting Lineup (or JR's bar as it is affectionately known as)... this bar is perfect for watching the game with TV's in perfect vicinity of every seat. JR makes you feel like a guest in his home every time you visit. Friendly regulars.. and a good selection of beers and seltzers. I highly recommend this cozy little dive for games or just for hanging out!

This Bar is in an unique position, you can "Uber Eat" food to the bar while you purchase a drink or two. The bartender is cool. The ambience of this location is amazing. This is a favorite duck off spot. Hidden gem!Parking: Parking is tough.
