“The food is so good! The steak fajitas were perfectly seasoned. The birria tacos were bigger than anywhere I have gotten before. The au jus is so well seasoned. The camarones al la crema is perfectly smokey and delicious. My new favorite Mexican restaurant! We waited for about 10 minutes to be sat. Our waiter sat us and did act like he was in a hurry every time he came over to us. The time I came, there were maybe 5 other tables, but there was another server. As we left, we did see him on his phone. The place is clean and at the time quiet. The White Sangria tasted like juice, which was perfect for me. Also, had lots of fruit, which was fruit cocktail. Was still delicious.“
“I wish I could give more stars! My husband and I moved here to be closer to family a couple of years ago and I am the only one in our family that enjoys Mexican Food. Finally got my husband to take me here for an early Valentine's Day meal and I was NOT disappointed. This place is fantastic. It is small but so worth it. We got there at a time when not many people were there and there was only one person doing hostess, server, runner, etc. and he did everything with such professionalism and style.I got cheese enchiladas with rice and beans with a guacamole appetizer, also tried the milk queso dip. Oh man, I love the dip and the freshly made guacamole was the BEST.I am a tough customer when it comes to dining out, I want to be waited on hand and foot (don't we all?), fresh made food that is served hot and cooked correctly and I don't like to have an empty glass. As busy as he was, he never missed a beat. Our food was HOT, cooked to perfection, we never ran out of chips/salsa, and our drinks were never less than 1/2 full. Some places SAY they have good Mexican food, this place actually delivers on this and it is worth every penny. On that note, the prices are great as well. I have nothing negative to say except I can't eat there every day or I would destroy my waistline.Highly recommend you try this out. The atmosphere is great as well.“
“Food was excellent. Really enjoyed the mole and guacamole. Lot of variety on tasty margaritas. Our server Alex was attentive and made us feel at home. The best place I know of in Harford County for a more authentic Mexican cuisine experience. We'll be back.“
“I’ve been here maybe 75 times in my life, no joke, and each and every time it has been a treat to go to La Tolteca. The staff, like Mr. Raul and Mrs. Rosy, and so kind and attentive, and they even know us now as regulars. The living plants that span dozens of feet across the ceiling and the curved glass windows that span from the floor to the roof add a good vibe to the atmosphere of the restaurant. The tables and booths have just been redone, we noticed, so they’re super comfy and up to date. And of course the food is good, otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this review! One minor thing is that the bathrooms could use an upgrade. They don’t get very warm in the winter and they’re not very comfortable. Otherwise, I love La Tolteca.“
“We have not been to this Qdoba in several months and to be honest it is because it was very bad. The food was ok but the service was terrible. We talked about going tonight and my wife said let's order online from home so our food will only be 10 minutes late. We decided on eating in store. The team and manager didn't look familiar and that was a great thing. The service was greatly improved and our food was great too. We went from basically writing this location off to putting it back in the rotation, especially because we love Qdoba.“
“We stopped by yesterday for taco tuesday, best drinks I’ve ever had, food was amazing and the bartenders were awesome. Kevin and Erixs made sure my wife and I had a great time. Best taco tuesday spot in Harford County and definitely best mexican restaurant I have ever been to!“
