“A hidden staple of Bethesda, this place has been here for years. While I love Tastee Diner for late nights, the quality of the food is so much better at The Original Pancake House, so for breakfast/brunch, there is no question it's thd OPH!Vegetarian options: Offers egg dishes, fried potatoes, and other vegetarian breakfast fare.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner atmosphere.“
“Delicious food and great service. Rosie went above and beyond to make my meal perfect. When I accidentally left something in there and walked out, she came out of the building and caught my attention down the block. You can tell she really cares about her customers. I will be back!“
“Transport yourself back to the old-fashioned lunch counters at this charming mom & pop shop. The nostalgic decor captures the essence of simpler times, emphasizing that quality food doesn't require modernization. However, keep in mind that this establishment operates on a cash-only basis. Despite occasional crowding, the efficient staff ensures prompt order fulfillment, maintaining a smooth dining experience. Immerse yourself in the cozy atmosphere and indulge in their delicious offerings, reminiscent of homemade comfort food.“
“Jimmy T’s Place never disappoints. Kyle and the rest of the staff are alway friendly, attentive and eager to make customers feel welcome and liven up the day. No matter how busy, they always have time for you. The food is delicious and homemade. Jimmy T’s is the highlight of every trip to DC.“
“Great bagel place! Delicious bagels and food, great service and clean restaurant. One part of our came out with the wrong order and when they corrected it, they gave us delicious empanadas and a hibiscus drink on the house! Such a nice surprise. Other restaurants can learn from them. Check them out when in Georgetown.??“
“Been here twice now and I'm obsessed! I tried the animal the first time and honey butter tots. Both are a 10/10! However the animal is HUGE and to be honest all the sandwiches are pretty big so definitely worth your penny. 2nd time I came, I got the Abe foreman (sausage) and the cinnamon sugar tots. My boyfriend loved them so much he had me go back up to get more! Cashiers are always nice, even when it's busy. The National Landing is such a cute concept with easy access to great food and drink options!“
“I did my school work here, and needed to grab breakfast and lunch while I am in their cafe. The shawarma is amazing. The owner are friendly and accommodating. Their internet is fast, and the atmosphere is laid back. Their prices are also reasonable. I highly recommend this business <3Vegetarian options: Have selections for vegetarian mealsKid-friendliness: yes.“
“Cafe Kindred is the best! I placed a catering order for an event I was hosting at my business. Everything and everyone was so great and helpful! From answering my questions to placing the order and picking it up, everything was seamless! My event was successful and everyone raved about the food!! Thanks Cafe Kindred!!!!“
“Two big pieces of French toast and fresh fried eggs. Simple and delicious! Friendly wait staff who treated me like a regular even though I’m a newcomer. The restaurant smells fresh and looks cozy like you’d expect. Glad I stopped in for an evening breakfast. Thanks for being open 24 hours in Arlington.“
“Love love love the Breakfast here! We had the Shrimp and Grits … my fiancé calls it a bowl of “ SLEEP” … Because it is that delicious and flavorful, but you will be knocked out after you eat it all! Lol!Oscar was our waiter… so friendly and exuded great customer service! Great guy! You’ve gotta try this if you are a lover of good ole country food or shrimp and grits… this will be your FAVORITE!!!P.S. Bring a pillow ( lol)“
“Great spot for tea and healthy food, lovely presentation bento box. I had the lightly spicy vegan bean cakes today--Delicious and filling. Incredible selection of teas and tea accessories. Plesant staff. Will take friends there! Great location, tasteful casual decor, lots of windows.“
“The food, cleanliness, and customer service have all been top-notch during every visit thus far especially compared to the Gaithersburg location, which is much closer to my house, however I'm willing to drive the extra distance because I know that I'll have a better overall experience. Clearly, the manager @ the Rockville location runs a " tight" ( professional) ship & has taken the necessary steps to ensure their staff are properly trained. I even took a friend who normally goes to the Gaithersburg location, and she even commented on how much better this location is in comparison. Keep up the great work!“
“I ordered Bread & Chocolate from out of state to be delivered to my sister as a surprise on her birthday. I messaged after hours inquiring if a little note could be written along with her surprise breakfast, not only did they respond immediately, but they had a sweet heart felt card. Thank you guys so much for going above and beyond. You really made her birthday special and SO YUMMY she said. I’ll have to stop in next visit! Thank you thank you!!“
“Take my reviews with the knowledge that to get a five star it has to be perfect. We visited on a Sunday morning around 10am and there was no line and about 3 tables taken. Nearly all the bagel options were all gone. Most of the tables were available, but we could only find about 3 that weren't dirty. Service at the counter was polite and efficient.Food was as anticipated, good enough bagels, not the kind that you have to chew into and pull hard to snap off a bite. Bagels are easy to bite into. I was pleased that I was given more than enough cream cheese, possibly too much! The cappuccino was also as expected. $9.05 for large cappuccino and a plain bagel with cream cheese (March 2024).“
“This is something I would call a "if you know then you know" type of place. The location is not the best unless you live in the neighborhood, quick bite to eat good service, consistent food. The owners have been there a long time and we appreciate it.“
“Seriously the best hand pie I have ever had!!! The crust was so delicious and flaky. Muffins are full of flavor and just the right size! To top it off it is the most affordable breakfast in town. Definitely a must stop in D.C. for breakfast. Plus the staff is super kind and dedicated to their work. 5++++ stars!“
“I worked an internship in the same building as this restaurant for 2 weeks. The first day, someone at the company told me about the restaurant, so I decided to go there for lunch on my first day. I got a Triple Club sandwich without the lettuce and tomato. Let me tell you, it was the best damn sandwich I have had in my life. I went back there every single day, and tipped 20% every time because the owners were such lovely people. It was $20, which equated to an hour and a half of work for this sandwich every day, and it was worth it every single time. I’m heading back to college tomorrow and I genuinely think the thing I will miss the most will be this restaurant. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this place!“
“I really appreciate this neighborhood bodega! The staff is extremely friendly and there are a lot of different food options here. I order the garden salad and add tuna salad, and I find it to be delicious. Pro tip: don't order online the prices are marked up. Call ahead and order, you'll save a few bucks!“
“One of the best deals I’ve found in the DMV. The BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) is as good as any spot I can get in NYC and the prices can’t be beat. Well worth the drive if you’re in the capital and want a banging breakfast sandwich. Highly reccomend.“
“Earlybird does not get enough attention as a breakfast option in DC, but it's solid for breakfast burritos and now breakfast tacos. I usually try to stop by if I'm in Navy Yard. I had a burrito that was good during a previous visit and I recently tried two of their breakfast tacos - the Simplistico and steak tacos. Plus, you get two choices of sauce. I got the dark red and green. I ordered at the single self-order kiosk inside the tiny store. It took a little less than 15 minutes to come out with two tacos. I took them both home after, but there's a few tables that make up their outdoor patio seating if you want to eat it right away. The Simplistico was my favorite and close enough to what I can get back in Texas. The steak was okay for me. Both the sauces went well with the tacos. Not too spicy. They also have fried chicken tacos, which I want to come back to try.“
“I was new to the area they have best chicken wings and crisp toss salad , I gave my name for my order I was called by my name each time I came in at least 3 times a week.made me feel special.the pies are delicious too.service was quick pleasant employees.“
“Food was good, and there seemed to be plenty of options, including Mexican Coke (low FODMAP, by the way!) Service was okay, but I wish the cashier would have offered to help me open that Coke right away; Mexican Coke doesn't use a twist-off cap. Tables were all dirty when I sat down, but a cleaner was aggressively cleaning tables and carpet while I ate, so I guess they were playing catch up. I wish there had been less sweeping directly to my left, right, and front while I was eating lunch, but I guess it all needed to be done.“
“The Best experience ever and all thanks to the best service at this place.I Normally don’t name people in my reviews but this time I will, Candace who served us and made us feel like we are in one of those 7 star restaurants.Candace was so Polite, Professional, and knew all about the food. Her recommendation was amazing like she knew what I will like. I am so much amazed by the over all service I received at this place.I will highly recommend this place. The most amazing experience I ever had.And thank you again Candace.“
“I love the ghost kitchen style. My burrito was a little expensive but I expect to pay more for quality ingredients. I wasn't let down I had yokey eggs, fresh vegetables, and everything was fresh and hot off the grill. I've eaten a lot of burritos and the real deal from Cali and Texas. Nothing will be that good but it is on top for an excellent quality burrito.“
