“If you have a Nespresso machine, either the original or the Virtuo model, this place is for you. They have a select set of flavors you can sample in the store. There's almost never a wait when I go there. And they have all the flavors available. You can also buy machines and other accessories. It links up with your rewards account in store as well as online“
“This place reminds me of San Francisco where I'm from. The vibes are so open and friendly and the place, as well as the atmosphere, are full of character. The coffee is in my opinion the best coffee in the DMV. High quality espresso drinks and matcha is well done. Their food is bomb, my personal favorite is the crogel. They have all sorts of lovely treats though. The staff are actually angels from heaven, everyone is so sweet and happy to be there. Also they sell plants. Love yall“
“Check out the Arlington location for this coffee shop on first street. Buried in the middle of a pleasant and very green suburban neighborhood, La Coop is a great place to work inside or outside on wrought iron chairs in a quaint plaza. Worthy of note are the real comfortable chairs with padding either at the coffee bar or at your own individual table. You aren't bruising your fanny on hardwood like at a library. Hello upholstery! For those that want to bury themselves by the sugar and the (eco-friendly straws), there's a second little wooden coffee bar overlooking the window that looks out into the parking lot. I also like that you also don't have to beg for wifi. The password is provided on a nice little sign by the door with a happy face sign. Staff are super nice too.“
“Held my Monday meet up for my campaign for State Senate here this morning Such a beautiful venue adorned with sunflowers hanging from the ceiling! Their Nitro Cold Brew is great! Even the pup tried to take a sip ☺️ Visit www.Sophia4VA.com for our next coffee gathering!“
“The owner, Felix, is extremely knowledgeable and travels all over the world to acquire small lot beans and roasts them to perfection. I try to hit the Saturday morning coffeehouse as often as I can. The espresso is the best in the area (great baristas) and they offer pour overs and cold brew. You can also purchase beans on Saturday if you get there early. Their Caravella espresso blend is outstanding and they sell other single origin beans throughout the year.“
“I absolutely adore this coffee shop! It's pricey, about a dollar more than another competitor (which is already expensive mind you), but I don't mind because I think this particular coffee shop has the best coffee out of all of the places I've been both domestic and abroad. So why did I take a star off if they're so good?Simply put I never know if this place is going to be open or not! Nestled just a hop skip and a jump from the White House, I forgo Peet's, Starbucks, and all the other usuals, only to find a note posted on the door that they're not open! Now, mind you, I've already got a bone to pick with how early coffee shops close in DC and the lack of good diners, but the fact that I keep running into a closed sign is frustrating. It already feels like they're behind the curve being open 7am-4pm, but dragging my feet so I get there after 7am only to find them closed is worse considering there aren't any other good options when I keep on my journey to my next destination. This coffee shop really truly is the best, I recommend it to everyone, but if you work early hours make sure you've got a backup plan!“
“Best drip coffee and beans on the strip. Especially good with yirgacheffe blend Family owned and friendly. The locally made sambusas are excellent. Not skilled at cortados, flat whites or other specialties; though. The baked goods could be better“
“I did my school work here, and needed to grab breakfast and lunch while I am in their cafe. The shawarma is amazing. The owner are friendly and accommodating. Their internet is fast, and the atmosphere is laid back. Their prices are also reasonable. I highly recommend this business <3Vegetarian options: Have selections for vegetarian mealsKid-friendliness: yes.“
“I've long waited for a craft coffee roaster to arrive in this area and Celtic Cup Coffee crosses all of the 'Ts.' As a 'first timer,' I asked Doug for two roasts - a medium, and a medium dark - and love them both. Top notch customer service, responsive, and friendly. Oh! I hear that he is opening a retail location in DT Silver Spring in '24 very close to the Metro. Keep an eye out! Thanks Doug for making me a believer again!“
“I liiiiiike coffee . I heard about new coffee shop open silver spring . That was Adulis coffee roaster . I was stop by recently and I order my favorite latte with extra shot and toasted bagel with regular cream . Overall Everything was perfect . I will come back again“
“Cool coffee spot. Especially if you’re waiting for a patient to be done at Kaiser. Got the nitro on draft. Can’t remember exactly what it was but the flavors caught my eye when I read it. Also got the double chocolate chip cookie. Cookie was really good. Crispy on the edges and soft on the inside. Not too sweet either“
“I was in a training near the 15th Street location of Zeke’s. Found it the first morning and went back every day. Shared my experience with others and we all loved it. A local was amazed at her coffee and will be a regular now. The employees were so kind and remembered my order every single day. Best dirty chai I’ve ever had! Quality coffee. Friendly employees. Great prices.“
“We love the vibe of this place. The food is interesting and the staff is always friendly. We’ve had several brunch/lunch specials, steak and eggs, pancakes and the burger. We keep coming back for the burger. It’s delicious. The ketchup is unique.“
“I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!Been traveling around the DC area and trying different coffee shops, and I can say this is one of the best, if not the best, coffee in DC. Their coffee is unique and the taste is so good. The owner is so kind and is obviously know what he’s doing!Beans are roasted made to order and onsite if you want to buy their beans. I’ve never experienced anything like it.Everyone needs to try it!“
“I was in town for work, stayed at the hotel across the street and ended up in this location of Compass multiple times. This is a really nice cafe! The coffee was very good, people working there were nice and clearly took it seriously, and the space is basically perfect for a cafe, with lots of indoor and a moderate amount of outdoor seating. If I lived in town I'd go here every day...“
“not much of a food selection on the Sunday morning I went around 9am. A few pastries, no hot brkfst sandwiches that I could see. Asked for a large cappuccino and the person behind the counter simply said "no". I just stared at her a few seconds not knowing what to say and she finally clarified they only have cappuccino in small. so I ordered a small and moved on. Can't say I'll necessarily go back even though I'm there every week for a group meet. Probably will get my coffee elsewhere nearby.“
“I want to give this Coffee spot a big Thank You. My first time here they made me feel so welcome. This space is good to work from and to chit chat with the staff. One of the staff member's let me taste the draft latte and it was sooo yummy! They have a lot of bake goods to pick from. My latte was amazing! This is my once a week or once a month treat to myself since I am trying to be more disciplined. Plus it's around the corner from my job.“

“This cafe is one of those that opened during or after Covid. It's an Eritrean outfit. Their disposable cups were so lovely that I didn't dispose mine and took it home, rinsed it, and am keeping it. :-) It's expensive though. But then again, everything is expensive now in DC. 'Tis inflation time. The décor is Ethiopian/Eritrean, but not oppressively so. It's a wide open space, not cosy / claustrophobic like Harrer (another Ethio coffee shop).“
“I came here for a treat after I got my COVID vaccine! The barista was so nice, the drink was so flavorful and cream (I got the seasonal Spring Fling), and the sandwich was tasty! Great atmosphere and very clean, which is nice during COVID :)“
