“The store is clean and organized when first walking in. The atmosphere is great with some people talking and other people doing their own thing. The staff is kind and caring when taking and handing your order. I recommend the spicy tuna!Dietary restrictions: There are food allergy signs on the table that let you know what’s in their products.Parking: On a busier day there is not much close parking, but you can park nearby for less than a 5 minute walk.Kid-friendliness: There are relaxing couches for kids and adults to sit on. There are tables that allow for a work friendly environment.“
“First time trying this place out. Customer service was great. Friendly staff and order was ready quickly and accurate.The smoothie was great and the wrap was quite tasty. Four stars for the small portions on the food for the price. My side was legit a little 2oz cup of coleslaw. It was tasty but literally just a spoonful. I would eat here again but not as my first choice.“
“This is the BEST smoothie king in all of the DMV area. I’ve been to most smoothie king locations, but this one is set apart for smoothie quality (so good), atmosphere (spotless and quiet) and customer service. Every person who works here is so kind that I drive 20 mins away just for a smoothie at this location. Go see for yourself!“
“I'm giving it 4 stars so I'll start off with the good: the base chocolate is absolutely fantastic, especially the 72% dogwood blossom. The ambiance of the store is comfortable and easy to navigate. The service was helpful enough. However, outside of the cinnamon cappuccino (which was divine) the flavored chocolates I had were not to my personal taste. I love a raspberry chocolate; however what is on offer here tastes distinctly artificial and hard to swallow. The two alcohol flavored chocolates I purchased also left a lot to be desired. The champagne was good, but weak and hard to place without knowing it. The bourbon also had a nice flavor, but it seems made for those who are afraid of liquor flavored chocolates. While this is a useful offering for those who have not acquired a taste for the usual boldness of artisanal liquor chocolates, I expect to be punched by the flavor rather than gently tickled. The mocha square was also missing the usual kick of coffee flavoring that came across so well in the cinnamon cappuccino. One could have told me that was a simple milk chocolate ganache and I would have believed it. There is an art to subtle flavors and while I'm afraid Bethesda Chocolates did not meet my expectations, the Belgian chocolate on offer is just too good and beautifully prepared to give anything less than 4 stars.“
