“This is our second trip to Kabuto, hibachi and sushi, and we enjoyed our meal very much. Our waiter is especially friendly and helpful; it’s almost impossible to believe that he is also the bartender, based upon the amazing service that we got, we will definitely come back with our friends again and again, and again and again. Get vegan love: it’s AMAZING!! .“
“I grew up in Seattle and recently had a craving for just some basic Americanized teriyaki. First I tried Go-Stir Fry Express in Wheaton mall... was a bit disappointed, but it scratched the itch. Then I tried Hibachi Express in Kensington - Much better, not bad at all. But I like this one even more. They ask if you want extra teriyaki on top at the end, and they have more vegetables and chile sauce available (If I were to guess, probably just your run of the mill Huy-Fong Chili Garlic Sauce, but it's a nice contrast on your veggies and rice to the sweet . There's a white sauce too, but I cannot hang with mayo and I am 99% sure it's probably based on mayo. Only problem is that if I am going to Bestway across the street now, I have to decide between this, Aarash Market, or Pupuseria Vanessa if I'm hungry.“
“I love Super Japan! Try their Salmon with shrimp, rice and veggies. Also, the chicken and shrimp. I've been going for years even after moving two states away. Nothing better to watch food prepared in front of you by some really, nice people. Tasty, fresh food and a decent price - can't beat it! Highly. Highly. Highly recommend!“
“i go here pretty regularly on my lunch break: the food is pretty standard americanized japanese food. The service is very fast and you get a really good amount of food for the price. If you need something quick in the NoMa area, I recommend it.“
“I ate in for my birthday coupon (which, if you don't know is a FABULOUS deal. Sign up for Chef's Table!). I go every year, and this year, Ricardo was our chef. He was a great chef and cooked delicious food - exactly as we'd ordered. I was appalled at how the other guests at our table treated him - barking out tailored orders left and right at him. He handled it with astonishing grace and poise. I can't imagine trying to cook five meals and appetizers, doing a show, and having customers tell me personalized things they wanted all through the cooking. Ricardo, on behalf of my table's terrible manners, I offer my apologies and want you to know you did a fabulous job and showed much grace under pressure. I am sorry for the treatment you received. The meal was superb, even if our guests were not (two of the guests reeked so strongly of pot, we were gagging - even sitting across the table from them). Ricardo was a really great chef!“
