“if you're visiting the historic town of Brunswick, then the Potomac Street Grill should be on your list. They have a robust menu that will suit anyone from vegetarians to carnivores. They have a great bar and friendly staff. If I'm ever visiting again, I will surely return.”

“Plentiful tea goodies and attentive service, nice selection of interesting teas. The scones were just a bit over baked and the tea sandwiches would have benefitted from a few veggies or fruit slices or something more inventive along with the cream cheese and herbs. The decor is playful and nostalgic. Nice reuse of an old church building that we are told had gone into severe decline. I'd go back for lunch.Parking: We drove around trying to figure out if the restaurant had its own parking lot but it doesn't. Street parking is cheap compared to DC (50 cents an hour) but the parking kiosk ate two of my quarters!”

“I had Boxcar (Brunswick) for the first time on Saturday after completing a 45 mile bike ride on the C&O trail. I ordered the Roland with a side of fries. All I can say is that this was probably the best burger and fries I think I've ever had! The fries were PERFECTLY cooked, and the burger was absolutely amazing! I tried to eat as slowly as possible because I wanted this meal to last forever, relishing every bite. I don't want to forget to mention the service was polite and fantastic. I'll definitely be back, a new fav!!!”

“I'm convinced this is the best tex mex in the Frederick area. It's an unassuming little restaurant, but everyone who works here is so nice. The refried beans are so good!! I always judge a tex Mex place by its beans and this one absolutely passes. The burritos are huge. Good chips and salsa and pupusas too! I can't recommend this place enough.”

“I had heard about this place but had never been so we decided to visit today and I'm so glad that we did. The gentleman behind the counter as well as the cooks went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and we're very enjoyable .Overall it reminded me of a pizza parlor from the '90s and was nostalgic, which I enjoyed. The Steak and Cheese sub was tasty, and the Pizza was so perfectly cooked that even "El Presidente" David Portnoy would be proud! It was also delicious! The Buffalo wings were good as well. I will be returning with my wife and son so they can try this pizza right out of the oven as it was very delicious!”

“This 24-hour diner attached to the Travelodge in Brunswick,Maryland is a throwback to the diners of the 1950s. We were looking for a decent meal after being on the road all day, and came upon this diner. The two women, Olivia and Kara who were working there could not have made the experience better. They were friendly, accommodated a special request for my husband, who was in the mood for an open-faced, hot turkey sandwich with gravy. They made the gravy as a special accommodation. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and the food was delicious. I would not hesitate to grab a meal there if you’re in the area.”

“Great Variations of beer. IPA but also German Hefeweizen and Pilsener.Very nice service there and I was meeting the brewer at the bar. He was sitting next to me enjoying a Feierabendbier and was very friendly as well. Thank you so much for the tasty beer, good talk and interesting info!!!”

“My wife and I ordered a quart of pork friend rice and a few chicken egg rolls. The rice was really good. Possibly a little heavy on the onions, which I don' mind but so might. The egg rolls were excellent. The food was done in 10-15 minutes from when I ordered, and service was pleasant at pick up.”

“The child taking the order wasn’t paying attention. Husband ordered a double whopper and fries, meaning a meal, he didn’t ask if he wanted a meal and just put a burger and fries separate with no drink. I told him to add 8 cheese tots twice, when I got my order, he didn’t order it because it wasn’t on the receipt so I had to go and order again. I got the Candied Bacon Burger meal… didn’t even have the crispy onions in it like the picture. It actually looked nothing like the picture but it was good. Place was clean, spacious.”

Stunning scenery, cozy furnishings, and incredible service come together to ensure a truly unforgettable dining experience. Our server Michael did an excellent job taking care of us as well, ensuring our glasses never went empty while providing excellent (and impressively thorough) descriptions of each course as it was presented. “I’ve been vegan 7 years and after trying this once, it’s now in the top 3 of vegan restaurants I’ve tried worldwide. The food was fresh, came out quick and tasted incredible. Staff was also super friendly and helpful in picking out options. The nachos could easily feed four people so it went a long way for just my boyfriend and I. He’s not vegan but absolutely loved it. We got the buffalo burger and dark horse burger. So sooooo good. Topped it off with oat milk ice cream soft serve. Was exactly what we needed after walking over 5 miles in Harpers Ferry. What an amazing gem - cannot wait to go back!!!”

“Flying Ace! Great brewery with a farm setting. The menu is very vast with beer options and cocktails/mocktails. The cocktail was made very well and it was strong. The brisket nachos were great and was fairly priced for the amount you get. I came here on a weekday so there were not a lot of people but I would definitely get the appeal during the weekend when it is busy. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor, the outdoor seating has a nice view. Great spot, I will be coming back.”

“It's wild to see that this place has anything less than a 5 star rating, I live about 45 minutes away and still bring my daughter as often as I can. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly, and the ice cream has always been amazing albeit I do agree it's a little pricey, but that's what you get when the milk comes from the farm right behind the building and not from a corporation.My ONLY negative review about here is how muddy the the ground gets by the slides, alot of times we have to pass on playing.Parking: Gravel parking lot, numerous unmarked spaces.Kid-friendliness: The staff has been amazing and patient with my daughter (5yo) every time we've been in, offering tastes when she doesn't know what she wants, to always having a smile and actually talking to her like she's a person and asking her what she wants.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is gravel, front entrance has a double door that can be opened, everything is on 1 level.”
