“Cute little place with a limited but good menu. I wasn't a huge fan of the sourdough, didn't have enough tang. But the asiago loaf was scrumptious and the country loaf was gone in about five minutes. Very cute shop and worth a stop in!”
“Wow! If you like red velvet cakes, you'll love their red velvet muffin! Chocolate chips and if you warm it up a warm cream cheese center! Divine! I can't to come back to try more! Plus my smores latte was amazing!”
“The atmosphere was nice lots of different signs and cool trinkets. When it came to the food it was great, the braised short rib poutine was nice and tender but it had a little bit more acidity than expected. The fish and chips were good the haddock was fried nicely while the chips were crispy with a soft interior. The chile lime wings were okay they had almost no lime taste and they were very sweet which was a little odd. When it came to the cobb salad it was nice and a great gluten free option. The wandertown cheesesteak was phenominal. Our server cody was amazing and really made us feel welcomed. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would be willing to come again.”
“I've had breakfast from one coast to the other. You will not find better homefries anywhere. Everything tastes just like it came out of your mom or grammas kitchen. Nothing mass produced here. Delicious food, great prices, and friendly service. If I could give ten stars I would.”
“Got rerouted on way home and stumbled upon this food truck-which is much more off a small take out/window service restaurant than a food truck. We called ahead to time it right and wow we really lucked out. Chicken and steak hibachi was more than enough for two people, sushi rolls were huge, and even the salted edamame were perfect. Such a refreshing change from fast food…although, food only took 15 minutes ? Saw quite a few locals picking up too which I always think is a good sign that the place is tried and true. Thanks WV for the fifteen minute drive through and the great food!”
“Red Sammy playing live was an awesome time! And Desiree’s hospitality made for a very inviting atmosphere. Felt like we were part of the family for the night! Thanks all for a great time!!”
“Very convenient to the trail at Harper's ferry. Good view! They don't have a lot of vegan options but I had the hummus and impossible burger and both were amazing so no complaints here! The fries were delicious (I subbed out for th3 chips) Boozy teas are also delicious. I come here with my dog and no one has ever complained or said anything so yay!My only issue is the bathroom situation, they seem to only have 1 stall for the whole restaurant? Maybe there are others but only saw the one.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger, Philly style ( no cheese) was very good.”
“This was our second visit and our server, Deb, was fantastic! 10/10 for service, food, and atmosphere. We’ll be return customers for sure. Our kids said they have the best chicken fingers, and I believe they have the best burgers around. And the drinks? TOP TIER. I got the seasonal shamrock margarita and was not disappointed. Thanks again Deb!”
“Great ice cream. They serve Hershey's hand dipped and other options. Fast service and generous helpings. Picnic tables outside are the only seating options that I could see. Entrance is on the back lower road across from the train station.”
“Beautiful small store, excellent service. But coffee is just not good at all. I got cappuccino and could barely taste any coffee itself. It's coffee flavored drink .”
“Great place in an old train car. Kids loved it. Reasonable prices, service was excellent and friendly. Food was good. No complaints at all. Pizza, ice cream, sandwiches, burgers, fries.”
“We had a great pizza, service was excellent. We had a 2 year old and an infant and wait staff was very gracious and helpful. Lots of toppings on the pizza and a good crust. We'll definitely be back!”
“After touring the local area, we stumbled in for a pint and some snacks. The bar keeper was a wonderful polite lady and pleasant to speak with. Beer was cold, and the food was good, and the atmosphere of the old building was great.”
“I’ve been vegan 7 years and after trying this once, it’s now in the top 3 of vegan restaurants I’ve tried worldwide. The food was fresh, came out quick and tasted incredible. Staff was also super friendly and helpful in picking out options. The nachos could easily feed four people so it went a long way for just my boyfriend and I. He’s not vegan but absolutely loved it. We got the buffalo burger and dark horse burger. So sooooo good. Topped it off with oat milk ice cream soft serve. Was exactly what we needed after walking over 5 miles in Harpers Ferry. What an amazing gem - cannot wait to go back!!!”
“I stopped by on a Monday (when it seemsLike there is no place to eat!) and ordered a curry chicken salad sandwich to go.I have had a smoothly here before and enjoyed that.Service was great (and speedy) and I enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich, which comes on toast with lettuce on the sandwich and potato chips on the side. Flavor was great. Texture- with celery and green onions was yummy. Will definitely stop by again and maybe eat-in. Yum!”
“We live a few miles away and we've enjoyed several French restaurants in this building for almost two decades. The current owners have truly outdone all the prior owners. This is not the first time we've been here under current management, but last night was the best experience ever!My husband and I enjoyed (a split portion of) the soup of the day, chicken soup with lots of vegetables, followed by the Norwegian salmon. Every component was beautifully cooked - my husband's medium and my medium-rare were perfect with skin so crunchy my husband didn't even remove it; the asparagus was cooked al dente as it should be, the mashed potatoes were tasty, and the ravigote sauce provided the perfect acidic counterpoint. Last but not least, our espresso martinis were great - perfect choice of cinnamon variety and amount. Our server, Taylor, was personable and professional, and made sure that food and drinks were served promptly and as ordered. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I was grateful that Taylor gave me choices and placed the GF bread order early enough that it arrived together with the regular bread. For the first time ever in this restaurant, my husband and I were able to share the three different kinds of butters without my having to beg him to save some for me! (Note: he rarely eats butter.) The kitchen and the front (including the Maitre d' - sorry I didn't ask his name) did an outstanding job last night!Strongly recommended!!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-intolerant friendly”
“Little Brick is one of the best coffee shops around. They’re also great with kids. They made a hot chocolate version of the Cowboy latte for our daughter. Highly recommended.”
“This location was in lovely Harper's ferry west Virginia.I can't say enough about this place it's like you go back to a time when people say hello and are just polite. I've eaten here several times over the last 7 years and it is consistently tops from the great salad bar to the hot food.. can't wait till new Year's we go back to a place that's like Mayberry good people and food thanks Marco Baltimore MD”
“I really enjoy their cold brew which is available at several places throughout town. Going to their actual brick and mortar place is great. They make excellent coffee drinks with just the right amount of flavoring when desired. They also will make decaf versions if you are taking it easy on caffeine.”
“The drinks and food were on point, one of the best old fashioneds I have ever had! Everything was so incredibly good! But not only that, Alma Bea also really took care of me as a vegetarian and catered to me so unexpectedly. I am truly amazed with this restaurant. I also fell in love with our waitress Julia, she was the most sweetest, charming server I think I've ever had! ? We will definitely be going back and recommend this restaurant to everyone❤️”
“It's such a beautiful space. Coffee and muffins are my favorite. The staff is absolutely wonderful! It's one of my favorite stops when I'm in town.”
“This is a popular destination! Sometimes the line can be out the door and down the sidewalk. I think they give a bit better value the buck than other Icecream shops in the area.”
“Kylie's Confections is a must try! Serving pastries, cupcakes, breakfast and even lunch - you're sure to find a treat you enjoy! Best chocolate chip cookies hands down, and diverse selection of cupcakes makes for a new flavor each visit!”
“Definitely a treasure found! This ice cream place was absolutely wonderful. The menu and choices are great. Only place to have Lavender Honey ice cream. It was so good I almost don't have words . If you are near or padding by or even just a trip it's worth it. Friendly employee and clean.”
“Most delicious pastries I had on the entire Appalachian Trail. The iced coffee and sandwiches were amazing too! They even invited me for a free wine tasting after I was done eating lunch. I had to keep on hiking that day, so I didn't do the wine tasting, but I'll never forget how kind they were to a stinky thru-hiker! I hope to make it back here someday to enjoy more great food and hospitality ☺️”
“We love this place; elevated comfort food in a relaxed environment. Our go to table waiter is David, he always takes great care of us. Suzie is the absolute best bartender and her espresso martinis are to die for (sorry Suzie!)”
“I am absolutely in love with this place! From the friendly staff to the AMAZING array of homemade baked goods, they don't miss a beat. They keep the line moving when it's busy in there and their service is impeccable. I'm totally hooked on their homemade cream cheese. Whenever I visit Charles Town, stopping here is a must.”
“Our server Karen was fantastic and ask for a better server. Trystin I am guessing is a manager is LAZY. Hope she’s not a manager the way she barked at others, rude and just plain lazy.”
“Ordered the Rodeo's Grill Special and shared with my wife - it was delicious! Loved it. Highly recommend! The staff was attentive and very pleasant to work with.Great experience all around!”
“The gyros were excellent, and the staff were very professional and easy-going. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, filling meal, plus the outdoor seating has good views of Maryland Heights.”
