“I ordered two cake slices and a Swiss roll to bring to a dinner and they were all delicious! The cake and frosting are not too sweet, and the fruit flavors taste like fresh fruit. The packaging is cute and makes each cake slice look like a gift. The store has lots of Japanese treats as well as the baked goods, and I will be returning to try more things.“

“Swung by here from out of town. We only got an iced coffee, a mocha frappé and a cheese danish, and we were impressed! The pastry was fresh, soft and yummy, and the drinks were above expectations. “My friend and I happened upon this place yesterday. Chris (the owner) was there and answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. There were so many delicious-sounding options that it took us a while to order. However, we couldn't have been happier with our selections. I chose the Blue Moon bowl, and my friend chose the Tropical Acai bowl. Let me tell you, these bowls were substantial! I was very full when I finished, and enjoyed every bite. The fruit was fresh, the mix that it topped was perfect, and the presentation was top notch. I felt that the price was worth every penny. The atmosphere of the place was awesome as well. There was a throwback playlist from the late 90s going, and it took us back to our college days. Overall, the whole experience exceeded expectations. I actually didn't have any expectations, but if I had some, they would have been exceeded! I took my mom and sister there today and we got smoothies and Jamaican patties. Loved it all! This spot will definitely be in the regular rotation. Highly recommend. Five stars on everything. I love supporting businesses owned by Black people, and this is a wonderful business that I will be happy to give my money to.“

The staff is friendly and then portion size is reasonable. Just about any where you come from, it will be worth your drive. Bathrooms available. The fresh fruits they use are of great quality and make all the difference, the portion sizes are extremely generous - you definitely get more than what you pay for. Despite being a small place, they have a lot to offer and their snow cones are definitely worth trying.“

“The three foods that I find are the hardest to agree on are cheesesteaks, pizza, and Chinese food. It is very subjective and more often than not everyone tastes can differ. Me on the other hand can agree that the meat all the while juicy could use more seasoning however with the usage of the TK sauce and the peppers I think this would qualify as a good cheesesteak not a great cheesesteak. Do yourself a favor and add the TK SAUCE to whatever sub you order it really elevates it. I would go back because I’m close I would not travel all the way from Bmore for it though.“

“I came here with my brother when looking for a bite to eat. I’m a big fan of smoked salmon and the Smoked Salmon Toast really delivers. I’d definitely get it again and this time I’d try one of the smoothies. The people were really kind and I enjoyed the overall vibe.“

“I've been a long time customer of Turning Natural and highly recommended their juices, smoothies and cleanses. My favorite smoothie is their Happy Hemp that comes with mango, pineapple, spinach, spirulina and hemp protein. So yummy! The black bean burger and spinach patty are pretty good too. They now even have açaí and pitaya bowls that I'm excited to try. They're also black owned and have locations throughout the DMV. You really can't go wrong!“
