Had the catfish, well seasoned for the price I thought you would at least get 2pc's but the food was good.

This is not Wikson's Soul Food it is In A Minute Cafe and the food was stupendous. Love love love it. I will be back again.

Came in on the whim and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. I appreciated the hospitality and conversation of Chef Wilson and Eddie. I am not one to jump out there to try something new unless I have a recommendation. They were gracious enough to let me sample the chicken wings and yams and they were delicious. I will definitely return.

I was truly disappointed in this place. I was looking for an alternative to Keith & Sons and Levi's mediocre food when I noticed this new place close to my home. Sadly, it was much worse than the previous listed restaurants. We ordered the smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, greens and potato salad. The pork chops were thin and over cooked, but the brown gravy was decent; the mac and cheese doesn't appear to be baked mac and cheese and is instead pasty with what tastes like tons of off-brand cheese product and heavy garlic/onion powder; the greens were unseasoned; and the worst part--the potato salad was rancid. I think we all know the flavor that mayo-based salads get when it's been sitting too long. In all, it tastes like what a hospital would serve on Thanksgivng. Please save your money. **Pic attached: food uneaten and thrown in the garbage can**

I was treated to this place buy my son, the food is served hot, very good soul food, I found the hush puppies, mac and cheese, and yams to be very tasty, the chicken is a little on the salty side. I would go back and recommend.

Very disappointed in the quality of food here. Very inconsistent. I've patronized this place 3 times trying to support black business and each time there are inconsistencies in the way the food is prepared and taste. The fried food is a very 'hard' fry. The wings were more like drummettes but the lady that took my order told me they were whole full size wings. I get there and they are over cooked dry little drummettes. I went again hoping for a different experience and ordered the seafood combo and the fish has no flavor and it too is over cooked/fried and dry. The shrimp are frozen from a box and are already breaded and butterflied. Again-zero flavor and over cooked! The crab cake was under cooked. The sides at the place are ok, but don't expect it to taste anything like mama's. This place is below mediocre at best. Maryland has an abundance of fresh seafood, yet this place is serving over fried fish and chicken and frozen breaded shrimp. At least have the decency to put seasoning on your boxed frozen food if you're going to continue to call yourself a Soulfood restaurant. Don't waste your time or money going to this place. It's not worth it. I've eaten better Soulfood at a Chinese restaurant.

Their cabbage is SOOO good. How good? Like I literally just drank the cabbage water good. And the cornbread is sweet and cakey. So perfect !! My only suggestion is that the chef lets me get in the back to help with the Mac n cheese. It was decent, but it's missing a little something. Besides that, everything was delicious and I look forward to ordering from Wilson's again!!
