“Giving this place a solid 5 for overall experienceI stopped by Junction for lunch with a friend and this was my first time here.I got a bit overwhelmed at first because they have a few different menus and also one posted on the wall.I proceeded to ask the waitress what her favorite dishes were and she said “there’s a lot that I like” I liked her response because It means she tried a lot of the dishes and there really isn’t much you could go wrong with. She began going into detail about the different dishes and that made me feel really comfortable because while she was explaining I was reading the menu and she was spot on. She spoke with so much passion I was excited to enjoy my meal.We ordered a set of wings, the drunken fish combo and the $5 happy hour punch. & not to mention there Happy Hour is Monday- Friday 11-8pm! I love It here! lolI like my wing fried hard which they weren’t but they were cooked well. The fish sandwich was HUGE & crunch my on the outside but soft on the inside. The fries were my favorite- so tasty. The drink was not your typical rum punch which was a nice touch but was definitely not expecting that.I would definitely come again and maybe next time try some of the baked goods!Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcomed!“

“This is a Starbucks kiosk located inside of a Safeway grocery store. It's the most convenient Starbucks in the Bethesda area because you can park for free in the Safeway lot. The other Starbucks locations in Bethesda don't have parking lots attached and you have to pay to park at a meter, if you can even find an open one. You can also get points on your Safeway loyalty card when you buy something here. The only drawback is that they don't seem to have as many of the pastries and snacks as a full Starbucks store, but they do have the essentials. There are a few seats at a counter, as well, for those who want to stay and eat/drink. The staff are friendly and the space is clean. I'm a fan!“

“i see a lot of bad comments about this place but i have been going here for over 9 years and never have i once had a bad experience the people here are so nice and helpful and honestly deserve a raise if they have to deal with people like the people leaving these comments. Sure they are human so they might mess up once or twice but don't we all they don't deserve the hate I see them get sometimes. The other day when i was here i saw someone ask for there drink to be iced so of course the people here made it iced then the person got mad because there wasn't enough ice sure maybe it was a miss communication in which case you can ask nicely for it to be re made but no this person got so mad it made no sense to me. I have read 1 star reviews on this place complaining they look upset no they look tired sometimes because this is hard work they are doing not only are they making food and drink all day but they put up with Constant criticism for the tiniest mistake they make. I love this place and the people here i have even thought about applying to work here.“

“Huge thank you to Peter A. for going above and beyond to help resolve a delivery issue. No one dreams of working (or shopping) at a grocery store the day before Thanksgiving during a pandemic- he had the harder role and was incredibly helpful. Happy to be loyal to a store that can keep such great people on staff.“

“Possibly the best food I’ve ever had in the DMV meets incredible service. They didn’t have the dessert we wanted, so they comped us the one we chose instead. Also, as someone who is sensitive to gluten, dairy, corn, and peanuts, eating out is often extremely tricky and limited, but I was able to choose from maybe 70% of their menu, which is super impressive. Great spot if you have dietary restrictions and want a lot of options.Just a note, you definitely want a reservation. This place is busy for a reason!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-, dairy-, and nut-containing options are clearly labeled. Ask about other restrictions if you have them.“

“I had Ethiopian cuisine on my bucket list for real long time, but since I couldn't find much time to visit any Ethiopian restaurant in New York city, I decided to go ahead with the one in Washington DC!Initially, I was a bit hesitant to order the meat dishes since my last adventure with African cuisine wasn't a great one. Glad that Ethiopians have a good amount of vegetables in their diet which helped me make a safe and easy choice to go with!I went ahead with their traditional veggie platter, which consisted of 2 vegetables, 2 lentil dishes and a salad served over Injera( basically the Ethiopian version of dosa: An Indian dish and a much softer one instead of crispy). The vegetables served were cluster beans along with cabbage and potato. The cluster beans felt right out of my home kitchen whereas the potato was undercooked in the cabbage one! The two lentil dishes served out of which one was the spicy one and the other not spicy. I loved both of them. Honestly, I never thought it would be so close to traditional Indian cuisine as a result I also let the server know the same. The server was pretty friendly and was happy to guide me through their menu while providing quick service. The restaurant though feels like a homely vibe with close seating and the ambiance being that of a family home.Overall, an amazing experience for me with interesting thing being it felt like having a home cooked meal rather than eating at a restaurant!“

“Orders are placed via phone or you can order at the counter but the tip defaults to 22%. I’m a generous tipper but am annoyed at this, esp when our server didn’t return with sugar after being asked for it or to check up on us. Otherwise, it’s a very cozy place.“

“This is a gem of a spot in Cleveland Park! I discovered it one day and now I’m a regular and have started bringing my friends. Who all have said they wanna come back. The restaurant is small, but intimate and the food is amazing. The Scallops are a must try. Every time I’ve gone and sat at the bar and have always had an amazing experience. Kyle & Victor are so knowledgeable on their wines and just make the experience 10x better. The playful pairings on the menu are also another highlight and a lot of fun. Definitely a spot worth checking out!“
