BTW - If you're McDonalds and you're reading this you should take note - their service is fast, they give you plenty of sauces without hassling you, free refills on soft drinks, plenty of napkins and even moist towelettes, face to face ordering (not - stand over there and use our machine), and employees often smile. “I recently visited My Kabul with family and some friends. Having been to most Afghan restaurants in the DMV and being Afghan myself I can say that the food was average. We ordered mantu and spinach for appetizers. Mantu has a good taste, but barely any yogurt sauce on them. The spinach lacked salt and not as flavorful as other restaurants.The kebabs were juicy, however lacking salt. The rice was good as well. Overall food needs improvement and salt please!!The service was great, our waiter was kind and hospitable. The atmosphere was very welcoming and homey. I enjoyed the dining table and chair setup as if we were at someone’s house.Overall, I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here, but I might stop by if I’m in the area.“

“This is my first time at the Laurel location and I was surprised by how clean it was. I was immediately greeted as I walked through the door. Maddyn helped at check out and provided great customer service. I recently became a vegetarian and I was able to get a delicious bowl that was full of flavor. I would recommend coming to this location, there is always somewhere to park and has a nice outside area for when it’s warm outside.“

“This place quickly became one of our family's go to eateries when they first opened. I've had a different meal each time we've gone here and every dish was delicious. We have gone probably ten times so far. Atmosphere is great and even better now after the remodel. The service is sometimes slow, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. The drinks are a little pricey too. I just paid ten bucks for a shot of Jack Daniel's on Friday. Most other places that would be between 6-8 bucks. Highly recommended Acapulco though.“

“I’ve been to peri peri several times, with large groups, solo and smaller parties. The food here is always fresh and fairly delicious. I’ve ordered their steaks, wraps, mock tails, burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches. You really can’t go wrong with the food here. One thing that they need to work on is the speed and sense of urgency when patrons have been waiting on orders. When it is packed just be prepared for items to come out slowly, for orders to arrive at staggering times or for orders to potentially be messed up. Orders have also been messed up consistently, with items missing or things not being served exactly as ordered or with accurate preferences. I came back the following day after receiving a messed up order last night. I called and spoke to the cashier and she recognized the mistake and said I could come back the following day. When I arrived, the man was insisting that my order was correct and I just didn’t like my burger. I know my order was incorrect because it was missing the specific sauce that I asked for on the burger. Please work on customer service and there needs to be quality control and for someone to double check orders for accuracy. I still love this place and will continue to support“

“RegionAle has some solid sandwiches and chips. I love the muffaletta when they have it and my current favorite is the Nashville chicken. They have changed up some of their recipes over the years. I miss the old potato salad recipe. The Indiana pork tenderloin was my favorite, but was different last time we had it, still good though.“

“This was our first time eating at your place. You can’t even recognize the Old Clyde’s Restaurant and the open, bright design is a huge improvement. We got the halibut special tonight. The presentation was terrific and both of us were very impressed with how tasty everything was. Our server was professional and attentive. The one major disappointment was paying $6 for an assortment of rolls and the bread came out and they were all the same and honestly not very fresh. I would also suggest that you add a side salad as an option. We will definitely go back again.“

Although Huntington Deli & Market is not located within a gas station, the ambiance and atmosphere inside gave off a similar vibe. It felt more like a casual eatery within a convenience store rather than a dedicated deli. This might not be a significant concern for some, but it did detract from the overall dining experience and the feeling of a traditional deli setting.Regarding the specific items I ordered, the cheesesteak was slightly pricey but not out of the ordinary for a deli. However, the real shock came when I ordered the fries. They were ridiculously expensive, and to make matters worse, I had to pay an additional $1 for Old Bay seasoning. This extra charge for something as basic as seasoning felt excessive and unreasonable. In the future, I plan to bring my own Old Bay seasoning to avoid paying for it again.In conclusion, despite the drawbacks and the feeling of it being more like a gas station than a traditional deli, I would still consider visiting Huntington Deli & Market again.
