Food is great but be careful with your choice of servers. The bar stock needs improvement however the drinks they can produce are well made.

#SupportLocalBusiness I still consider this restaurant a hidden gem. Our server tonight (Esmeralda) was super gracious, the lamb chops are ALWAYS a winner, and they've added La Marca Prosecco to their menu ... what's there to complain about? Oh yeah, the 1980-ish carpet, artificial flowers, faux stone, etc. are such a buzz kill! I need them to renovate! Guess what? I will STILL return for their lamp chops ... gaudy decor and all.

While the service has declined over the past 6 years, dinner here is a must whenever I'm in the DMV. It's quaint and has an elegant yet comfortable home feel. I had the stuffed salmon which was a little overcooked, but still tasty and reasonably priced. Mama Stella's is one of my Prince George's County favorites.

Food was not as good as before other visits. We were with a crowd. 1) woman asked for med rare steak, cooked too long. I was med. Ceasars salad way too much dressing. Drowned. 2) sauce on Scallop dish sauce was not paired well with scallops. Made me. Very sick. Service was very slow. We had to ask for drinks and bread. Drinks were not filled regularly. Red sauce on dishes wereVery acidic.

Classic Italian Restaurant boasting authentic Italian cuisine. It is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the DMV.
Parking: No so concerned about parking waiting at cashier desk. Being ignored way to long. At least agnoledge me don't happen. Finally when someone comes my order was sitting on a table the whole time. Where is protocol. Hell where's Brian
if you’re expecting to get ziti.. be prepared it is not like regular ziti. there was no marinara, when the menu says its comes with it. It just tasted like alfredo sauce and noodles with big vegetable pieces.

Awesome traditional Italian restaurant. I have eaten at Mama Stella's several times while visiting family. Each visit has been a great dining experience.
I have seen this place a million times and had never been but I was starving and didn't want to search all over. It was also near the auto shop I was leaving.I was pleasantly surprised to see an actual white table cloth restaurant in the area with full place setting. Yes it made my day. The server was very attentive and personable. I had the Linguine Alla Mama Stella changed to Angel Hair instead, it was was phenomenal. It was flavored perfectly and full of clams throughout, no clam searching involved. I had a cocktail, cant remember the name and it was great too.I would have given it 5 stars but I ordered the calamari appetizer, because why not, and it was devoid of any flavor. That was made up by the moist and flavorful carrot cake I had for dessert.I am definitely going to go back because there was so much on the menu I want to try.
