We arrived to find a beautiful campground. There is a staff of 80 people. The park is so clean and beautiful. They offer tours of DC and have a metro bus stop at front gate. They offer daily lectures on DC and the available attractions. The gift shop offers souvenirs at the most reasonable prices. They have 2 outdoor pools and a hot tub. There is also a Sauna. This was the nicest RV park that we have ever stayed it. It had tons of amenities, such as a pool, splash pad and a tractor ride in the evenings. The staff were friendly. There were plenty of trees for shade, and grassy areas for the dogs to play in.
We are lucky that we live 2.5 hours from Cherry Hill Park and can visit frequently. This is one of my all-time favorite campgrounds and I've been camping for 17 years. The staff is wonderful. The pool is heated and stays open late. There is an on-site cafe that serves fresh and reasonably prices meals for the times you don't feel like cooking. The campground is clean.
